1. This is to bring to the notice of the candidates who have applied for the posts of

Deputy Range Forest Officer, Forest Guards and Forest Watchers vide Notification No.B9-Recruitment-Sports-CR-1/2015-16 dated:03-07-2015, Recruitment of

Meritorious Sports Persons.

2. While scrutinizing the applications, it is noticed that a few applicants have not

produced the required information as per Rule 4 (5) (c) of Karnataka Forest Department Services (Recruitment of Meritorious Sports Persons in the category of Deputy Range Forest Officers, Forest Guards and Forest Watchers) (Special)

Rule, 2015, for preparing the rank list against each game / sport. The above Rules clearly indicates that the applicants have to provide certificates as per the priority order specified under the Rule 4 (5) (b) and also the performance against

the game / sport for preparing the rank list as specified under Rule 4 (5)(c)(i). Under the circumstances the candidates are given an opportunity at the time of verification of the documents to provide the information called for under the

3. i) The above mentioned candidates are required to produce original

documents and copies attested / certified by the Dean or Sports in-charge

of the University regarding their individual / team performance indicating Timings for Races, Hurdles, Relay, Walk, Marathon and Swimming,

Distance for Long Jump, Triple Jump, Discus, Shot put, Javelin and Hammer Throw, Height for High Jump and Weight lifted in Kg. for Weight lifting and Powerlifting and in case of games specific mention of

participated Rounds i.e., 1st, 2nd, 3rd Round, quarter final semi-final and Final. For Chess, provide final ranking after completing all specified Rounds and for shooting, billiards & Snooker provide the final score and

rank obtained.

ii) The documents, restricted to the valid certificate of the sport / game duly indicating specific discipline / event as notified in the notification dated:

03-07-2015, uploaded as attachments to the Application submitted vide Rule 4 (5) (b) -1 to 60 are considered.

Note: The candidates who have uploaded certificates against the discipline

wise posts as indicated in the notification dated:03-07-2015 are considered. The certificates indicating the participation in Athletics, Games and Sports etc., without specifying the participated discipline / event are not considered.

iii) The candidates are required to bring all the original certificates and documents at the time of document verification :

i. Marks Cards and Certificate of qualifying exam,

ii. Date of Birth Certificates (SSLC Marks Card)
