INTRODUCTION

What is textile Architecture ? Architectural

design using textile membranes made of high-strength

coated polyester fabrics.

Membrane structures - challenging designs from an

architectural point of view on account of the low weight

and high degree of flexibility

The conventional usage of textile

o Upholstered furniture in drawing rooms,

o Cushions and spreads in bedrooms,

o Runners and covers in the dining halls,

o The draperies in the kitchens,

Today raise the need to enhance the appearance ofbuildings.

For that, textiles are used in architectural statures.
