Dear parent/guardian of NYE 5th grade students,

Every NYE fifth grader will receive a Memory Book from the PTA as an end-of-elementary school gift.

The Memory Book committee needs a kindergarten age picture and a 5th grade picture for EACH 5th

grade student. These can be their school picture or a snapshot at the appropriate age. Please make

sure they are not blurry or dark photos as they will not copy well. Vertical (portrait) pictures are best

when possible. We are asking parents of all 5th grade students to begin submitting photos for this year's book. Each

student will have a half page in the book dedicated just to him or her, and it will include a kindergarten photo and a

fifth grade photo.

In addition, we are looking for snapshot pictures of the students throughout their NYE years (K-5). If you have any pho-

tos from school activities that you've taken we would love to have those for our collage pages. Keep in mind we are

trying to include all the students in the 5th grade so group pictures will work best for these pages. These are separate

pictures from the yearbook. Please do not submit the same pictures that have been or will be submitted to the year-

book. Again, blurry or dark photos will not copy well and we will not be able to use them in most cases.

Parents may upload their photos to Shutterfly at:

Site URL: https://nye5thgradememorybook.shutterfly.com/

Site Name: NYE 5th grade memory book

You will need to log in to Shutterfly with your own account (these are free to create), and request membership to the

NYE Memory Book site. Once approved, you may begin uploading your photos. Photos of individual students are

due FEBRUARY 1st, so there is plenty of time to find the perfect shots!

Please upload pictures to your child’s existing album on

the Shutterfly website. We have created an album for

each student under their LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL.

Information on how to purchase special messages for your child to be included in the book will be shared next month.

Any questions regarding the Memory Book may be emailed to:

with school photos. If you are at a school event or helping in your child’s classroom, please feel

free to take pics and post them to this new app! You will need to register and add Nancy Young
