Known History: Anthony Edward Stark, son of the legendary weapons manufacturer Howard Stark, sped through school, ultimately enrolling in MIT. His parents died in a car accident around this time, leaving him with no authority figures to guide him through life. They also left him Stark industries, the company his father founded.

Stark was a natural at weapons design, and he steered his company to a top position in the defense industry until he was captured by insurgents during a product demonstration in Afghanistan. Stark was seriously injured in the process, and had to install an electromagnet in his chest just to keep shrapnel out of his heart. The same electromagnet powered the first wersion of the Iron Man suit, which he built to escape his captors.

Since then, Stark has continually refined the armor, and by any objective assessment it is probably the best armor for any man who wants to go into battle.

THE MIGHTY THOR: Exiled to Midgard by his father Odin, the Norse god of thunder, Thor walks among humanity to learn humility. It’s not an easy lesson for him, especially not when he is practically invincible and armed with the divine hammer Mjolnir, A founding member of the Avengers, he fights a constant battle with his trickster half-brother Loki.

Nationality: AsgardianPowers: Exceptional superstrenght and endurance even beyond the Asgardian average. Thor has evidenced a considerable degree of control over the weather, though whether that ability is unique to him or his warhammer, flight and electric manipulation.

Unique Weapon: Mjolnir, a warhammer subject claims in “enchanted”. Through unknown means it can only be wielded by one who is “worthy”, indicating some rudimentary artificial intelligence. It also returns to Thor’s hand once thrown and appears capable of openin a dimensional gateway between our plane and Asgard.Known history: Subject claims to be the Thor Odinson, that is to say the Norse God of Thunder worshiped since Viking times. HULK: Child prodigy Bruce Banner became a weapons researcher for the US Army, where he was inadvertently exposed to the radiation of a prototype Gamma bomb. This granted him the power to transform into nearly invulnerable Hulk – but at the cost of suffering the consequences of the Hulk’s unthinking rages.Name: Dr. Robert Bruce BannerPowers: Sudden and rapid skin discoloration, growth of bone structure and musculature, increased aggression. There is a correlation betweem the intensity of Hulk’s anger and the intensity of his strength, There is nothing the Hulk can’t destroy if he is angry enough.

Known History: Banner’s father physicist father killed his mother when he was very young. Early development showed great intellectual aptitude but also signs of mental instability: violent tendencies and possible multiple-personality disorder. Schools usually try to keep that stuff off classmates and they had some interesting stories.

Banner’s life changed when he was working for the Department of defense. He was supervising a gamma bomb test in the desert when a teenager drove onto the test site. Banner grabbed the kid boy and threw him into a trench, out of harm’s way. Then the bomb went off and Banner was standing at ground zero of a gamma bomb blast. Unbelievably, he survived, but now transform into a ranging monster when angered or otherwise stressed.

SCARLET WITCH: Born at the Wundagore montain, in proximity to the eldritch energies of the Elder God Chthon; Wanda and her brother Pietro's mother, Magda, fled Wundagore shortly after their birth. Although not known at the time, Chthon formed a mystic bond with Wanda, who, it was later learned, was destined to serve the role of Nexus Being, a living local point for the Earth dimension's mystical energy.

Name: Wanda MaximoffNation of Origin: Transia (in the Balkans)Active Mutation: Difficult to classify. Wanda is one of the world’s most powerful telekinetics, in fact, she mentally affects quantum units of energy that cause fluctuations in probabilities favorable to her. She has long called her power “hex bolts,” though that seem far too inadequate a term.

Habilities: She can use probability manipulation, reality alteration and chaos magic. The Scarlet Witch can tap into mystic energy for reality-altering effects; this power was formerly limited to the creation of "hex-spheres" of reality-disrupting quasi-psionic force to cause molecular disturbances in a target's probability field, resulting in spontaneous combustion, deflection of objects in flight, and so on. She later became able to alter reality on a far greater scale, creating entire armies of enemies from nowhere. Although the Scarlet Witch has been trained in basic sorcery techniques, she lacks the specialized mystic training required to fully control her power.

Hereditary Mutations: Wanda’s father is Magneto, half-sister is Polaris, and twin brother is Quicksilver, are all mutants.

Kept in stasis by the Evolutionary for decades, the two infants were later placed in the custody of a Gypsy couple named Django and Marya Maximoff. When Wanda and Pietro were teenagers and had already manifested their mutant powers, their family's encampment was attacked, leaving Marya dead; Django survived, but was separated from his children, while the traumatized Wanda and Pietro also fled, believing their foster father to have died. After several months of surviving on their own in the woods, the siblings ventured into a nearby town, where Wanda's powers inadvertently set fire to a house. Set upon by villagers who believed the pair to be "in league with the Devil", they were rescued by the timely arrival of Magneto, the mutant master of magnetism. Magneto was in fact their father, but neither he nor the siblings were aware of this at the time. Exploiting the pair's gratitude, Magneto pressed them into service as part of his anti-human terrorist unit, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.

Captain America is an American fictional character, a superhero. The character first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 from Marvel Comics' 1940s predecessor, Timely Comics, and was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. As of 2007, an estimated 210 million copies of "Captain America" comic books had been sold in 75 countries. For nearly all of the character's publication history, Captain America has been the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum, in order to aid the United States government's efforts to win World War II. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible, boomerang-like shield that can both be thrown as a weapon and used to defend against others' weapons.

An intentionally patriotic creation who was often depicted fighting the Axis powers of World War II, Captain America was Timely Comics' most popular character during the 1940s wartime period. After the war ended, the character's popularity waned and the comic had been discontinued by 1950 aside from an ill-fated 1953 revival. Captain America was re-introduced by Marvel Comics during the Silver Age of comics, as an M.I.A soldier retrieved from an iceberg and awakened from suspended animation by the superhero team the Avengers in The Avengers #4 (March 1964). Spider-Man is a fictional character, a comic book superhero that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko, he first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (cover-dated Aug. 1962). Lee and Ditko conceived the character as an orphan being raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, and as a teenager, having to deal with the normal struggles of adolescence in addition to those of a costumed crimefighter.
