1.) Having a Vision and Creating Goals-What do you want out of life?-How hard are you willing to work for it?-What is it that you want to accomplish with events

specifically?

2.) Setting Goals That Are Right For You-Not every event is for you-Try not to “take everything that comes your way”.

Its ok to be selective.-Write out 10 goals of what you want to achieve in

the next 90 days financially, career-wise, and personal development-wise.

3.) Lining Up Type of Events with Your Skill Assets-There are two approaches to applying for events:

investigate or rapid-fire-The problem with rapid-fire is that it is like a

lottery system, you lose more than you win.

-Most people use the rapid-fire approach because of their lack of understanding

4.) Getting Things in Place-Create a professional email template (samples can

be found online)-Get a quick logo created with your name at

Fiverr.com-Make sure to use the same email signature in all of

your emails-Create a professional email (usually just your

name @gmail is perfect)-Revisit your social media profiles and photos

(LinkedIn is PRIORITY!)

5.) Ramping Up-Now that everything is in place, you can get

started.-Create an email body template that you can use

when applying to jobs (tweak and customize for each situation, either way, this will save you a lot of time)

-Check your emails at least 2-3x daily and get back to postings right away. DO NOT PUT IT OFF!

-Start applying for gigs and watch the replies come flowing in!!!
