1.1 A DYNAMIC AND COMMITTED FAMILY SME!

1880 The history of the company begins with PLANTIN brothers, farmers at Pernes-Les-Fontaines, when they decide to make their own fertilizers.

1902 Their production becoming too strong for their needs, they buy the factory of La Rolande in Courthézon and settle there definitively in 1908.

1927 «PLANTIN Frères» take a real industrial dimension.

1933 Jean and Marius PLANTIN transfer their shares to their sons. The business name «PLANTIN Frères» is replaced by the corporate name «Ets PLANTIN».

1955-

1975The company turns to a constantly developing range of specialty products.

1976 Henri ABEILLE takes charge of the company previously managed by his father.

1982-

1985PLANTIN expands with the addition of 2 new workshops: water soluble and liquid products.

2013 Franck ABEILLE, fifth generation, joins PLANTIN.

2017 Franck ABEILLE becomes co-manager of the company.

1.2 A STRONG HISTORY!


PLANTIN’s production site is located in the south east of France, in Vaucluse. With a total area of 7 hectares including 2,5 dedicated to the production of fertilizers, the company has important nearby substructures that simplify logistics, particularly the highway (less than 10 minutes away) and an easy supply of raw materials linked to the presence of the port area of Fos-Marseille (about 1 hour).

Mastery of complex industrial processesIt is after a rigorous organization and perfectly controlled industrial processes that PLANTIN produces in its factory more than 3000 formulas, master all the different forms of fertilizers and distributes its fertilizers in more than 20 countries. Protecting, defending its innovation, especially through industrial property, is a priority for PLANTIN. The diversification of our workshops allows PLANTIN to be competitive in its own markets as well as in subcontracting markets. PLANTIN, it’s a 100 % French production!

3.1 - NUTRIENT SOLUTIONS: LIQUOPLANTOur LIQUOPLANT are concentrated liquid mother solutions providing professionals with a complete range.LIQUOPLANT contain major elements (N, P and K) combined or not with secondary elements (Mg, S and Ca) and/or trace elements.They can therefore take over from traditional fertilization when the contribution of major or secondary elements is not enough. Our LIQUOPLANT enriched in trace elements fertilizers can be used to prevent or correct deficiencies.

Since 1880, in France and abroad, PLANTIN and its teams have been able to develop many formulas. 3.2 - NUTRIENT SOLUTIONS FOR VINES: LIQUOVIGNEOur LIQUOVIGNE are a complete range of liquid fertilizers for vines made from high quality raw materials.The liquid fertilization of the vine is synonymous with reasoned fertilization. It is a synergy between the real needs of the vine and the soil, the quality of the production, the profitability and the respect for the environment.Our LIQUOVIGNE apply in fertigation to ensure a direct supply in the active root zone delivering: the right fertilizer at the right time! As a result, the winegrower obtains optimal efficiency with smaller quantities of fertilizers that only benefit the vine in the respect of the environment.
