Main Features Airflow: Upflow, front grille air return with front air discharge via an adjustable grille Construction: Steel chassis with removable front and side panels. Thermally and acoustically

insulated with 20mm thick class ”O” insulation. Designed and built in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001.

Coils: Made from 3/8” copper tubes with aluminium fins at 14 or 16 per inch and fitted with stainless steel condensate tray.

Fans: Forward curved double inlet fans and an integral 3-speed direct-drive motor. Filters: 25mm thick disposable pleated filters to EU4 (G4) standard. Main Features Airflow: Upflow and Downflow models, with various return and discharge configurations. Construction: Rigid Aluzink frame with Class ‘O’ insulated hinged panels. Serviceable exclusively

from the front. Designed and built in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001. Coils: The coils are made up of 3/8” Copper tubes, DX coils are inner grooved, with

aluminium fins and fitted with stainless steel condensate trays. Coils are inclined for maximum face area, minimum pressure drop and noise reduction. An Electronic Expansion Valve option is available. A three port modulating valve is fitted to the “C”version units.

Compressors: Fully hermetic scroll compressors, installed with AV mounts. Each fitted with back-seating isolating valves with an oil level sight glass on larger models and High and Low pressure switches.

Ambicool: Provides free or partially free cooling by exploiting low ambient conditions. Typically reduces running time and energy costs by 70% in northern Europe. (F version)

Condensers: Water Cooled, compact pressed stainless steel plate heat exchanger, provides high velocity and low pressure drop.

Fans: Models 3 - 5 have one backward-curved, direct drive centrifugal fan, with a single inlet and integral single speed motor. Models 8 – 21 have one or two double width forward curved fans with double inlets and an integral three-speed direct drive motor, with lowest speed for dehumidification.

Filters: Disposable pleated filters to EU4 (G4) as standard, EU7 (F7) available. Humidifier: Electrode boiler type with proportional control. Heaters: Electric heating elements with Stainless Steel fins and safety cut-out. LPHW also

available. Controls: Denco C3-05 controls as standard. Powerful microprocessor controller with graphical

liquid crystal display. Full range of communications interfaces available. Ancillaries: A wide range of matching optional extras is available.

Condensers Water Cooled, compact pressed stainless steel plate heat exchanger, provides high velocity and low pressure drop.

Fans Low speed, double-inlet, double-width, forward curved fans. Individual EFF1 motors with adjustable belt drive. Quiet "sealed for life" ball or roller bearings and anti-vibration rubber gasket.

change facility, high and low temperature alarms and indication of on-off status. All parameters are factory set.

Ancillaries: A wide range of matching optional extras is available.

Please Note:

The EP - ‘Externally Packaged’ range is specifically designed for full outdoor installation and none of the system components are located indoors.

As an alternative, a range of RP – ‘Room Packaged’ units designed for full indoor installation is also available. In this configuration none of the system components are located outdoors.

VRF: Variable Refrigerant Flow. With two compressors per circuit, an intermediate cooling stage can be achieved which offers significantly higher efficiency, economy, increase in compressor life and greater cooling control.

Fans: All models have one or two double width forward curved fans with double inlets and an integral 3-speed direct-drive motor, with the lowest speed for dehumidification. Models 24 and 34 only have double inlet, double width forward curved fans with individual motors with adjustable belt drives.

A three port modulating valve is fitted to the “C”version units.

Fans: Belt driven fans are either double-inlet, double-width, forward or backward curved dependent on the static required, whilst direct drive fans are double-inlet, double-width, backward curved. Belt driven fans have individual EFF1 motors with adjustable belt drives. All fans are fitted with quiet “sealed for life” ball or roller bearings on anti-vibration mountings.

Description The Denco Local Environment Control Unit (LECU) is an intelligent, underfloor air distribution terminal, combining the benefits of displacement ventilation, induction and fan coil technologies. When used in conjunction with Denco Zone units, the area served by each LECU is maintained at occupant-defined conditions, by recirculation of a varying mix of room return and underfloor conditioned air. Requiring only a small single-phase power supply, units can be moved around as required to suit ever-changing office layouts, with no more disruption than that caused by the relocation of a desk. It is this flexibility that offers a real alternative to traditional rigid methods of providing air conditioning within the workspace.

Main Features Airflow: Variable between a nominal 0.1 m3/s giving 1.0 kW cooling at a noise level of NR20

and a nominal 0.2 m3/s giving 2.5 kW cooling at a noise level of NR45. Construction: Components mounted within sheet metal tray, with separate side mounted controls

section. Designed and built in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001. Operation: A modulating damper dictates proportion of room or underfloor air to be supplied,

according to load in the local space, local set point and underfloor air condition. Fans: Dual double inlet, double width forward curved centrifugal fans are directly driven by

a five speed, enclosed motor. Heaters: Although not usually required, the LECU can incorporate a small electric heater

battery to give more precise control. Controls: Units incorporate user-friendly local stand-alone controllers, each complete with large

LCD display. Options are available for networked controls, with or without local display.

Fresh Air: An adjustable orifice gives each LECU a controlled and continuous supply of underfloor oxygenated air at all load conditions, meeting statutory ventilation requirements.

Ancillaries: Air grilles can be supplied to match the height and compliment the colour of any desired floor finish.

Variants: Special “Slimline” units can be supplied using tangential fans, for applications with restricted height raised floor voids.

Local Environmental Control Unit “LECU” The LECU is dimensioned to fit within a standard 600mm x 600mm raised floor tile and can be supplied with matching grilles and surface covering. Units can be positioned as dictated by day-to-day office operational requirements.
