Harvest Tyres are designed and engineered by Australian Tyre Traders (ATT). Our organisation has a long and successful history across the agricultural community both domestically and internationally.

INTRODUCING THE HARVEST HR45 RADIAL RANGE

The Harvest Tyres range has continually improved over the past 13 years through feedback from our customers, manufactures and our Australian farmers. New generation farming equipment requires the highest performance and standard, and that is what we continue to deliver with the Harvest Radial Ranges. The core fundamental principles that create the Harvest Tyres brand remains the same regardless what tyre we construct and what the fit for purpose application is.

Single Wire Bead Reduces high torque bead slippage. The shape has been tailored to each tyre size and load index.

High Ply Turn-Up Increases sidewall strength and stability for higher load/ high torque carrying capacity.

45 Degree Lugs Provide longer service life, greater traction and drawbar pull, as well as reduced fuel consumption, better ride handling and smooth ride on hard soils and road transport.

Harvest HR45 X-LOAD Radial Tyres have been specifically designed to offer possibilities to further improve traction and load carrying performance with reduced lug penetration. The Harvest HR45 X-LOAD Tyres have been engineered in Australia for Australian Conditions using Harvest core principles. This means Harvest HR45 X-LOAD Tyres allow for lower field operating pressures than the standard radial design with the benefit to operate at higher pressures for high torque application, such as laser buckets. Additionally, the Harvest HR45 X-LOAD Tyres offer stability at higher speeds for driven applications such as Self-Propelled Sprayers. In selected sizes, the HR45 X-LOAD Tyres can achieve maximum speeds of up to 70 km/h. Due to the tough nature and unique design of Harvest X-LOAD Tyres, they can be used within many applications and are more robust than many other brands of Agricultural tyres on the market in Australia.

As vehicles have evolved in recent years, so have Original Equipment (OE) tyres, and with an expert in-house research and development department, Australian Tyre Traders technical department are involved from the initial product brief and design through to the final manufactured product.

Harvest Tyres meet the requirements on the most demanding applications. Such is the result of our design philosophy “Design to a strength and performance standard, not price”.

However, in some cases a tailored solution is best. Working closely with our clients from the beginning of the design process, we are able to provide client-specific performance standards based on individual performance needs.

ATT’s Research and Development team is based out of our national Head Office in Melbourne, Victoria. Our focus is to provide Australian farmers with the best tyre option for their machinery, with continued emphasis on manufacturing purpose built tyres for Australian conditions.

Whilst most tractor tyres available in Australia are designed for global markets, Harvest Tyres are designed and engineered here in Australia by Australian tyre engineers for the Australian agricultural market.

The R&D department is involved from the initial concept and design through to the end manufactured product. DESIGN CONCEPT

Philosophy:

Design and manufactured to a strength and performance standard, not price.

Concept:

Design a high quality tyre in a range of sizes that would interchange between equipment groups and would perform exceptionally well in all Australian soil types.

Challenges:

High Strength Construction: Build a tyre that assumes maximum work load in all applications.

Compound Selection: Farm tyres are required to work in several major soil types throughout Australia - all having their own tread wear characteristics. Compounds we use have a high percentage of natural rubber and are resistant to weather cracking & soil abrasions, they also contain a special tough tread rubber for longer wear.

Pattern Selection: Pattern selection to perform well in all soil types when fitted to a variety of farm equipment vehicles and position. Tread pattern design in both bias ply and radial construction have a 45 degree lug angle which gives an outstanding service life and self-cleaning characteristics.

Improved traction / load carrying performance on high horsepower tractors (high sustained torque loads)

Harvest agricultural tyres offer a high industry standard guarantee for all HB45 and HR45 products.

This guarantee covers all manufacturing and componentry faults. Tyres must be used within Harvest design perameters for designated application, be of legal

tread depth, and comply with the Tyre and Rim Association (TRAA) standards. For the warranty to be valid the tyres must be purchased from an authorised Harvest

preferred dealer or ftted as an original equipment tyre.

ELIGIBILITY & PROOF OF PURCHASEYour Harvest Agricultural tyre must only be used on the vehicle on which they were originally installed by the Harvest Preferred Dealer or Original Equipment Manufacturer. The Harvest Agricultural products has been manufactured to the highest quality standards and is warranted to the original purchaser or gift recipient only. The Harvest Agricultural tyre Replacement Guarantee (hereinafter referred to as “guarantee”) is non-transferable. In order for a claim to be processed the tyre retailer must be Harvest preferred dealer in Australia or fitted as an original equipment supplier. Purchase receipt or invoice must be retained as proof of purchase and as proof of the date on which the purchase was made. The purchase receipt or invoice must be presented when making a claim under this guarantee. In the event the receipt of purchase is not presented this guarantee may be invalid. This guarantee applies to Harvest HB & HR tyres purchased on or after 1st January 2010. Bias Ply HB*R1 tyres are covered by a 5 year pro-rata guarantee. General terms and conditions apply.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS The Harvest product is guaranteed to be free from defects in manufacturing quality and free from componentry faults during the guarantee period. Defects that occur within this guarantee period, under normal use and care will be replaced at our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts or labor. As the manufacturer of Harvest products in Australia, Australian Tyre Traders (hereinafter referred to as “ATT”) will handle all service, guarantee, warranty and replacement affairs. In the unlikely event of no identical Harvest product being available for replacement, ATT reserves the right to replace the tyre with an equivalent product. Replacement of the product does not extend or restart the guarantee period. The guarantee is limited to the original purchaser and the original vehicle on which they are fitted and not assignable to subsequent purchasers or vehicles. The guarantee will only be issued once the appropriate paperwork has been received and the tyre has been examined and been deemed suitable for replacement. The guarantee applies to new Harvest Agricultural tyres only. The Harvest product presented for claim must be of legal tread depth. Legal tread depth is governed by the Tyre and Rim Association of Australia (TRAA) and is currently set at 1.5mm deep for tyres for road use. No dealer, representative or person has authority to make representation promise or agreement on behalf of Harvest except Harvest authorized management and staff members. Any tyre, no matter how well constructed, may fail due to conditions beyond the control of the manufacturer. Under no circumstances is this warranty a representation that a tyre failure cannot occur.

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS The guarantee will not cover tyres with wear conditions or tyre damage due to: field / road hazards (including: punctures, snag, cut, impact breaks, etc), misalignment, improper inflation, irregular wear, heal and toe wear, wreck, collision, theft, fire, fast wear, and other wear conditions. The guarantee will not cover tyre failures due to improper inflation, overloading, high-speed, high wheel slip, FWA Tyre mismatching / Dual Tyre mismatching, misapplication, misuse, negligence, racing, chain damage or improper mounting or demounting. Any Harvest tyre intentionally altered in shape or appearance will not be guaranteed. Any Harvest tyre that has had material added including tyre fillers, sealants or balancing substances) will not be guaranteed. Cost of fitting any other charges by the dealer in connection with the replacement of the tyre does not form part of the guarantee. Any Harvest tyre that has been repaired will not be guaranteed. The guarantee will not apply if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product. This guarantee does not cover any defect caused by an accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, unauthorized medication, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorized by the distributor. This guarantee does not cover damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the Product, or to any transportation costs of the Product or any parts thereof to and from the owner, unless otherwise specified in these guarantee conditions.

(E4WD) Equal Four Drive Tractors: “Dual tyre mismatching”. (FWA) Front Wheel Assist Tractors: mismatching front to rear tyre ratio, mismatching tyre ratio to gear box ratio (0-6%) Failure to match implement GVM load to tyre load index.2.1) Tyre size must be equal to or greater than the minimum required load to transmit the full power of the tractor/implement.2.2) If a tyre is rendered unserviceable due to several areas of exposed cord, or numerous non- repairable penetrations to the inner liner caused by stubble damage, high torque side wall cracking and or bead damage due to tyre spinning on wheel.2.3) Improper repair or improper insertion of sealant, balancing, or fller materials;2.4) Alteration of either the appearance or the physical characteristics of the tyre;2.5) Mounting damage or conditions caused by aging or improper storage; and failure to observe any of the “Owner-User’s Obligations”2.6) Misapplication of a tyre.2.7) Full-Service rendered, repaired or retread tyres2.8) Use of a solid type fll (such as urethane) voids all warranties2.9) Articulated (E4WD) tractors should be ballasted with cast iron weights so that 65-70% or more of the total static weight of the tractor is on the front axle.2.10) (E4WD) Equal Four Drive Tractors: front to rear weight distributation not set per manufactures guide lines.2.11) (FWA) Front Wheel Assist Tractors: front to rear weight distributation not set per manufactures guide lines.

Scraper Operations:3.1) Defects or tyre characteristics caused by land-levelling or earthmoving operations;3.2) Tyre failure due to the use of incorrect infation pressure.3.3) Tyre failure due to incorrect tyre selection to suit equipment operations.3.4) Tyre failure due to operating with full power at speeds under 4 mph (6.5 km/h); bead rim slip, bead leakage or torque side cracking.3.5) Max tyre load capacity at max tractor speed must be greater than the max load expected on any tyre at any given time during the scraping operation.3.6) When tyres are used as duals, the single load capacity must be reduced by 8% and matched to axle loading.3.7) When tyres are used as duals, tyres must have equal Overall Diameter height.3.8) Failure to determining correct machine weights and tyre infation pressures to suit by axle loading.3.9) Mechanical condition of the vehicle.3.10) The rear axle must be weighed with the scraper(s) attached and fully loaded, in order to determine tyre load index and tyre pressure.3.11) Articulated E4WD tractors should be ballasted with cast iron weights so that 65-70%

or more of the total static weight of the tractor is on the front axle.
