As a product designer, I am passionate about the

combination of quality, function and appearance of

our products, which is why so much thought has gone

into the New 550 Series of workplace furniture.

It doesn’t cost more to design something well, so we

started with a clean sheet of paper and a ‘how can

we make this better’ approach. We designed a range

of workplace furniture that would give a consistent,

modern appearance throughout the workplace – from

warehouse to workshop to office, and enhance the

working environment. We made our modular system

both logical and simple to configure so that it can be

used as a single item or completely integrated.

We included many of the features that have made

our unique workshop furniture system so successful

amongst the World’s leading automotive brands. It has

gained us the Queen’s Award for International Trade

2012 and the prestigious ‘Red Dot’ design award.

Floorstanding cupboard units

• Choice of 500, 750 and 1000mm widths• 2-point locking door(s)• Adjustable inner shelf

550 Series floorstanding units can be used independently for low level storage, or linked to back panels and wall units to provide both low and high level storage.

They are 900mm high, 550mm deep, and available in modular widths of 500, 750 & 1000mm. The range offers a choice of cupboard doors and/or full-extension foam lined drawers – all fully lockable.

Floorstanding cabinets are supplied with the DuraTuff™ textured painted metal tops as standard, but can be fitted with additional worktops (see page13 for details).

550 Series mobile units are designed to match the floorstanding units height of 900mm, and are available in the same modular widths of 500, 750 & 1000mm.

They are fitted with lockable castors and a pull handle, and available with 6 drawers, or drawers with a cupboard.

Mobile units come with pinseal worksurface as standard, but can be fitted with alternative worktops (see page 13 for details)

550 Series tall cupboard units are 2m high and contain 4 adjustable shelves, to provide a bulk storage solution co-ordinated with the rest of the range.

550 Series wall units are designed to provide high level storage above a workbench or floorstanding unit. They can be mounted directly to load bearing walls, but we recommend using backstraps, which attach the wall units and back panels directly to the workbench or floorstanding unit, providing a freestanding solution.

They are available in 500, 750 & 1000mm widths, and are supplied either with an inner adjustable shelf, or a square peg back compatible with the clip-on hook system (see page 11).

550 Series wall units can be fitted with under-cabinet lighting to provide a comfortable working area beneath. Lighting is provided as pelmets housing LED lights, in the standard 500, 750 and 1000mm widths, which can be interconnected for continuous runs. These can be switched on and off individually on each light fitting.

The hooks and clips attach and release easily by squeezing together the lower teeth of the clip.

Electrical Trunking Units Accessories

Worktops can be fitted with electrical trunking units to provide a tidy solution for delivering plug points and IT services directly to the workarea without trailing cables.

The trunking units are supplied with regular spaced pre-cut apertures for double and single sockets. These can be removed or retained depending where the holes need to be. Trunking units are supplied without fittings or cables but can be provided – please contact us for further details.
