1. OVERVIEW

This document provides step by step instructions for Probis Auton installation on Mac.

2. DOWNLOAD Probis AUTON FOR MAC

Click the Safari icon in Mac Dock to open a Safari browserin Mac.

Type the URL for downloading Probis Auton application for Mac provided.

Make sure download is completed and the Probis Auton folder can be opened.

3. DOWNLOAD WINESKIN

In the Safari browser, type below URL to open Wineskin download website:

Click the download link of Wineskin Winery 1.7

Make sure download is completed by extracting Downloads folder and there is a Wineskin Winery icon in it.

4. RUN WINESKIN WINERY

Click the Wineskin Winery icon in the Downloads folder and click “Open” to continue.

5. CONFIGURE WINESKIN WINERY 5.1 Install Engines (WS9Wine2.22)

Click “+” button besides “New Engine(s) available!”

Select “WS9Wine2.22” in Available Engines. If “WS9Wine2.22” is not selected by default, type it in the filter text box or select it in the scroll bar list.

- Click “Download and Install” as it is highlighted in blue by default Make sure the file name to download and install is “WS9Wine2.22” in the File Downloader window. Click “OK” to continue.

After download and installation is completed, “WS9Wine2.22” will be shown in Installed Engines list.

5.2 Update Wrapper (Wineskin-2.6.2)

Click “Update” in the Wineskin Winery.

Verify if the file to download and install is “Wineskin-2.6.2”. Then click “OK” to continue.

When update is completed, verify the Wrapper Version is displayed as “Wineskin-2.6.2”

6. CREATE WRAPPER

Click the “Create New Blank Wrapper” button in Wineskin Winery application.

Type the Probis Auton name in the box to create a Wrapper window. Click “OK” to continue.

During the new wrapper creation process, Wine Mono Installer window pops up. Click “Install” to install Mono.

Click “Install” to install Gecko when the Wine Gecko Installer window pops up afterwards.

When the completion window pops up, click “View wrapper in Finder” to continue.

7. SET Probis AUTON LAUNCHER

Click “Go” in the menu bar on the top and then click “Home”

Navigate to the location of the created wrapper in “view wrapper in Finder”; right click ProbisAuton.app and then click “Show Package Contents”.

Click Wineskin.app to start running Wineskin.

Note: Below step 7.1 is dedicated for MacOS High Sierra version (must proceed to finish Probis Auton installation successfully). For all other versions, please skip step 7.1.

7.1 Cancel auto detect GPU Info for Direct3D

Click “Set Screen Options” in main menu

Untick “Auto Detect GPU Info for Direct3D”

- Click “Done” - Close WineSkin and launch WineSkin again

(end of step 7.1 and continue on normal procedure below)

Click “Install Software” after Wineskin application is loaded.

Select “Copy a Folder Inside” in the Installer window.

Navigate to the location of the unzipped Auton.zip folder downloaded in Section 2 and click “Choose”.

Choose Probis Auton.exe as executable and click “OK”

8. INSTALL LIBRARY FOR Probis AUTON EXECUTION

Click “Advanced” in Wineskin application.

Click “Winetricks” under Utilities in Tools tab.

Click “Update Winetricks” at the left bottom to update Winetricks to latest version.

- Click “OK” to confirm update

8.1 Install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 libraries

When update is completed, type in “dotnet452” in the search text box at the top.

Extract dlls in the panel below and “dotnet452” will be shown. Click the check box on the left of dotnet452 dll and it should be highlighted in blue. Click “Run” to install “dotnet452” dll.

Click “Run” to continue dotnet452 execution in the confirmation window.

- Accept all license terms and install all software prompted Click “Restart Now” after finished installation of “dotnet452”.

8.2 Install Visual C++ 2010 libraries

After restarted, go back to Wineskin > Advanced >Winetricks in “Tools” tab and type in “vcrun2010” in the search text box at the top.

- Extract dlls in the panel below and “vcrun2010” will be shown. Click the check box on the left of

vcrun2010 dll and it should be highlighted in blue. Click “Run” to install “vcrun2010”dll Click “Run” to continue vcrun2010 execution in the confirmation window.

- Accept all license terms and install all software prompted

8.3 Install fonts

- Clean the search text box

- Extract fonts in the panel below and “cjkfonts” will be shown. Click the check box on the left of cjkfonts

and it should be highlighted in blue. Click “Run” to install “cjkfonts” dll.

- Click “Close” to close Winetrick.

9. SET WINDOWS VERSION

In Wineskin Advanced, click “Config Utility (winecfg)” under Wine Tools in Tools tab.

Go to Applications tab and make sure Windows Version is set to Windows 2003.

- Click “OK” to continue

Click “Custom EXE Creator” under Utilities.

Select Windows EXE by clicking Browse button.

Navigate to Program Files\ProbisAuton_MacOS\ in drive_c directory; Select AutonLauncher.exe and click “Choose” to continue.

Type “AutoUpdater” in Name to use text box and type “Auton.exe showconsole manualupdate:Updates” in EXE Flags text box.

- Click “Save”

Message window prompts to confirm that AutonUpdater created successfully.

- Click “OK” to continue

Click “Go” in the menu bar on the top and then click “Home”

Navigate to ProbisAuton.app in location shown in the beginning of Section 7, then right click “Show Package Contents”.

Drag the AutonUpdater.app icon from Finder to Mac Dock to create shortcut.

Close the Wineskin Advanced and drag the ProbisAuton.app icon from Finder to Mac Dock to create shortcut.

10. RUN Probis AUTON APPLICATION

Run ProbisAuton by clicking the shortcut.

If there is update on Auton, it will prompt a message “Update found, please close Probis Auton and run AutonUpdater”.

Close Probis Auton and click AutonUpdater in Mac Dock.

When AutonUpdater finished update, message box prompts “Update finished, please restart Auton”.

Click ProbisAutonicon in Mac Dock to run Auton again.
