A patented multi-impact helmet technology that is ideal for the aggressive riding style of action sports athletes.

REBOUND PROPERTIES

When EPS helmets take a hard hit, the foam liner compresses and stays compressed, losing most of its impact-absorbing properties.

Because multi-impact SXP has built-in rebound control, once the helmet liner has been compressed, multi-impact SXP memory kicks in and the liner rebounds to its original shape, maintaining its impact-absorbing qualities.

HDPE is made up of a form-fitting, high-density, polyethylene shell, with flexibility to fit a broader range of head shapes. HDPE shells accompany our 2-stage soft foam liners, not certified to ASTM, CPSC, or CE safety standards.

Featured in Pro-tec’s Bucky Classic & Classic Full Cut skate helmets.

IN-MOLD

In-mold construction fuses a lightweight polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing EPS foam liner. This method of construction provides the optimal balance of protection and low-profile style without any excess weight.

When EPS helmets take a hard hit, the foam liner compresses and stays compressed, losing most of its impact-absorbing properties.

WATER TECHNOLOGYSHELLS

HARDSHELL

Hardshell construction is made up of a durable, high-density, injection-molded ABS shell, ideal for an aggressive water style at an affordable price.

Featured in Pro-tec’s Ace Water, Ace Wake, B2 Wake & Two Face helmets.

HDPE

HDPE is made up of a form-fitting, high-density, polyethylene shell, with flexibility to fit a broader range of head shapes.

Featured in Pro-tec’s Old School Wake & Classic Full Cut Water helmets.

LINERS

A. SWING LOCKTwo Face features “Swing Lock”, a reversible, adjustable fit system which offers supreme comfort and fit by cupping the occipital lobe at the back of the head. Fits varying head shapes with the adjustment of the sliding clasp and flexible tension strap. The sliding clasp is covered with a soft, protective padding cover. “Swing Lock” is reversible to allow the helmet bill to be worn in the front or the back.

B. HEAD LOCKAce Wake features the rear “Head Lock” fit system which offers excellent comfort and fit by cupping the occipital lobe of the head with high tech styling made from a flexible TPU skeleton. Height placement and front-to-back tension are adjustable as needed for different head shapes.

C. S.T.I.F.S.Classic Full Cut Water features the rear “Stay Tight Interior Fit System” which offers a secure, comfortable fit by cupping the occipital lobe on the back of the head. Baseball cap-fit styling, adjustable to varying head sizes. Made from strong, flexible components that are riveted to the back of the shell over the rear fit pad, it can be rotated up and down as needed for different head shapes.

D. FULL SURROUND INTERIORTwo Face, Ace Wake, B2 Wake and Ace Water feature a full-surround interior with dual-density EVA covering the inside of the shell. Portions of the EVA liner are cut thicker to cushion around the crown of the head.

E. CUPPING EAR GUARDSTwo Face, Ace Wake and B2 Wake feature removable cupping ear guards with padding around the ear to help prevent riders from blowing out their ear drums when they hit the water at high speeds.

EVA- All of our water helmets are equipped with a dual-density waterproof EVA liner - Two Face, Ace Wake, B2, Ace Water, Classic Full Cut Water and Old School Wake.

- Our dual-density EVA foam liners transition from soft to hard from your head out toward the hard shell of the helmet.
