-was built between 1923-1924 -art nouveau building -name was given according to

CARAFFOVA’S PRISON

-was built in early 16th century -it is a Gothic monumet -was used as a storehouse for wine barrels as

well as prison -name was given according to General

Antonio Caraffa from Naples

EVANGELICAL COLLEGE

the most important monument to the Protestant schools

-since 1815, there began lecturing law -studied a lot of important people, for example:

M.Hodža, J.Záborský, P.O.Hviezdoslav etc. -

PRESOV CALVARY

-it is a monument of the first half of the 18th century (1721-1752)

-consists of 16 baroque chapels and church in honor of St.Cross, which is built on the highest point

-is one of the national cultural heritage -the part is Caraffova’ prison

PALACE OF KLOBUŠICKY

-was built in 18th century -is richly decorated with beautiful scenes and

oriental-structured -over the main portal is coat of arms their

family

of the black eagle except the Theater of Jonas Zaborsky, Park of culture and rest and Restaurant SAVOY

-today there organizes cultural events

-is the only preserved urban tank -was built in the early 19th century -gave it to build a Jewish businessman Mark

Holländer as an expression of gratitude for the City Council allowed him to establish a business in Presov
