Storyboard of the song

Page 2: Presentation1

The opening scene in the video is of Michael Jackson, this for me has no significance apart from what's written in the lyrics, however the next couple of slides will show just how many costume changes there are just for Eminem in the video, this is important because of the amount of cutting that will need to be done and the scenes need to be kept looking new fresh and funny. Screenshot number two is of MC Hammers in his famous clothing.

The clothing Eminem wears here is more of his own cultured clothing. Long, baggy, sportswear and a chain around his neck, again this is a further example of what I was researching when I looked at music videos and products earlier in my research . This is an important style to get right whoever my actor is will need a similar dress code. The second screenshot is a further allegation of child molestation and Eminem uses the lyrics in the song and other meanings in the video cleverly to take the mickey out of such a society sensitive subject. Using Santa as another example

Screenshot five is another scene with Eminem rapping which in the overall video takes up only a few seconds but it adds to the overall flowing motion of the video which I need. Also note the change of clothing and scenery AGAIN. Screenshot 6 shows the producer Dr. Dre who either starts in, sings/raps and/or produces many of Eminem's songs.

Screenshot 8 and 9 are dancers both dressed similarly to Eminem at this point in the video, this reflects the molestation “joke” of the song and additionally when the lyrics are at the “yeah boy shake that ass” part the young boy is dancing, and then it swaps to the girl for “oops mean girl….”. So what I’ve learned so far is that whenever certain words are said it can trigger the time to maybe think about a scene/actor change along with clothing and camera angle.

The 9th screenshot is showing the more vulgar side of the video. Again the lyrics seem to trigger certain situations. “old Lady” being the key word here. Also the camera has changed as if it’s a security tape, and the lyrics talk about the police catching him on tape. Screenshot 10 is a snapshot of his 8 mile film in the main verse.

As the video winds down, the more stereotypical side of rap/hip-hop is shown, lots of attractive women dancing around the artist as if he owns them or is attractive. Screenshot 12 is yet another insult towards Michael Jackson, with his nose fallen off, his hair smoking from a fire that earlier in the video, this is taking the mickey out of a TV show that he appeared on and his hair once caught fire off a prop, the back drop is children bouncing on the bed which further portrays the molestation accusations.
