Our reputation promise/mission
The Auditor-General of South Africa has a constitutional
mandate and, as the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of
South Africa, exists to strengthen our country’s democracy
by enabling oversight, accountability and governance in the
public sector through auditing, thereby building public
confidence.
Definition : Information integration is the merging of
information from heterogeneous sources with differing
conceptual, contextual and typographical
representations. It is used in data mining and
consolidation of data from unstructured or semi-
structured resources.
The purpose of my discussion is to create
awareness regarding an integrated file plan which
will benefit the three spheres of government.
