About competition

Swiss Bernard Weber in 1999 started (began) campaign to select new world wonders.At first Weber was wrote almost 200 applicants in the list.At beginning of 2006 their list was decreased to 21 applicants.07.07.2007 was possible to vote and choose new world wonders.For applicants people from all the world could vote by internet or by SMS message.There actively was voted Asia’s and Latin America’s population.
