PROJECT AIMS

• To help people take the lead in planning & meeting their housing needs with the support of partner organisations

• To create a co-produced housing plan (strategy) for people with a learning disability in Northamptonshire

Project Funders

• The people paying for the work are the

Learning Disability Partnership Board

• The people leading the work are the ‘Finding a Place to Live Group’

Project Timescale & results

• Complete the Plan by end of Oct 2010

The Proposals

• Set up a project steering group – joint chaired

• Create a working group or groups

• Agree a number of pilot areas to work in

• Hold a few open events on Housing needs & options

• Considers ways of valuing each other’s contribution
