Changing Active Voice

to Passive Voice

In Passive Voice . . .1. Move the Direct Object to the

subject position

2. Change the verb into passive voice by adding Be Verb plus the past participle of the verb.

3. Add the doer by adding Preposition BY before the doer

The boy kicks the ball.

The ball kicked by the boy.is

The dog chased the mailman.

The mailman chased by the dog.wasS + BeV + P.p. + by + doer
