Preparation tips for EAMCET – 2014 (Physics) After the change of IPE syllabus, EAMCET 2014 is going to be the first exam in the new syllabus. The pattern of the examination is same as that of last year. Any way out of 40 questions nearly 25 questions i.e. nearly 60% will be easy. Nearly 10 questions i.e. nearly 25% will be moderate and about 5 questions i.e. nearly 13 % will be difficult. While going through every topic list out the important formulae and conceptual points so that these can be again revised two/three days before the exam. Prepare your own plan/time table so that all the topics are covered just two/three days before the final exam Practice more number of topic wise assignments and consolidated tests. While doing the assignments/tests take care about the time management. Go through the academy IPE TEXT BOOK and Academy EAMCET book. Completing the Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology and chemistry papers within 1hr 45min is also important to get more marks in physics. Allocate 1hr to 1hr 15min in the exam to get respectable marks in physics. Prepare a schedule according to toughest to most easiest. Do not leave any topic Even in the difficult topic you feel, try to learn fundamental definitions, concepts & formulae and practice related problems. Concentrate on difficult areas in the easiest topics you feel, to have a command on these topics. The most difficult topics all together may be 10 % to 20 %. It doesn’t matter even if you leave this part. www.sakshieducation.com www.sakshieducation.com www.sakshieducation.com

Preparation tips for EAMCET – 2014 (Physics)

After the change of IPE syllabus, EAMCET 2014 is going to be the first

exam in the new syllabus.

The pattern of the examination is same as that of last year.

Any way out of 40 questions nearly 25 questions i.e. nearly 60% will be

easy. Nearly 10 questions i.e. nearly 25% will be moderate and about 5

questions i.e. nearly 13 % will be difficult.

While going through every topic list out the important formulae and

conceptual points so that these can be again revised two/three days

before the exam.

Prepare your own plan/time table so that all the topics are covered just

two/three days before the final exam

Practice more number of topic wise assignments and consolidated tests.

While doing the assignments/tests take care about the time

management.

Go through the academy IPE TEXT BOOK and Academy EAMCET book.

Completing the Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology and chemistry

papers within 1hr 45min is also important to get more marks in physics.

Allocate 1hr to 1hr 15min in the exam to get respectable marks in

physics.

Prepare a schedule according to toughest to most easiest.

Do not leave any topic

Even in the difficult topic you feel, try to learn fundamental definitions,

concepts & formulae and practice related problems.

Concentrate on difficult areas in the easiest topics you feel, to have a

command on these topics.

The most difficult topics all together may be 10 % to 20 %. It doesn’t

matter even if you leave this part.

Most of the BIPC students feel physics very difficult. Even in solving

simple mathematical calculation also they try to avoid. This is all mere

psychological rather real.

BIPC students should learn few fundamental formulae related

mathematics. (Such differentiation, integration etc.)

They lose marks in physics not because of its difficultness, but due to

their psychology.

Be confident on your preparation.

Go through previous EAMCET question papers (at least previous 6 years)

to know the- pattern and standard of questions.

Try to overcome the week points in the weaker areas.

Underline the key words while doing a numerical problem to avoid

mistakes related to the simple concepts.

See this Example:

Ex: Two wires of same material have lengths in the ratio 2: 3 and radii in

the ratio 1: 2. If they are loaded with same mass so that they are

elongated by 0.5mm and 0.6mm, the ratio of their Young’s modulii is

Solution: In this problem key word is same material. As the material is

same Young’s modulus is same for both the wires

o Solving this problem using the formula 2

1 1 2 22

2 2 1 2

Y l r eFlYAe Y l r e

= ⇒ = × × is

wrong.

Ex: Similarly take care in calculating the number of beats formed and

the number of beats heard. Remember that the number of beats heard

can not be more than 10 because the persistence of sound on the human

ear is 1/10 th of a second.

Learning basics in all topics and thorough knowledge in selected topics

can lead to a better rank.

Give equal importance for both first and second year topics.

Try to develop application orientation in solving numericals in different

topics like Mechanics, Electricity etc.

In EAMCET each chapter is given equal importance. Hence instead of working for

kinematics for days together for one question, it is better to work for few hours on

chapters like Gravitation or Fluids which also carries one question each.

Be thorough with topics like Thermal properties of matter, Nuclei,

Thermodynamics, and Kinetic Theory of gasses which are also useful for

Chemistry.

Topic wise tips: Divide every topic into sub-topics so that you can know what was

completed and what was not completed.

JUNIOR INTER:

Physical World: Give academy text a novel reading for at least two/three times.

Units and Dimensions:

Learn the dimensional formulae of all the physical quantities from their

original formulae.
