Adult learning is essential to enable and encourage adults in Scotland to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to be active and productive individuals and contribute to society.
We want to ensure we are fit for purpose in a changing educational and economic world. And at the heart of our ambition is the principle that everyone in Scotland has the right to access high quality learning to meet their needs and aspirations – throughout their lives.

B. What are the obstacles to the Statement impacting on adult learning?
