more fluid than iOS and if you are an Xbox user, you’ll know exactly how the system works. OR, press the ‘desktop’ tile and even the most un-interested teacher will recognise the familiar computer desktop.

• The 128gb version has 83gb of storage, which is more than enough for a thousand PowerPoints and essays.

• The one I’ve been testing has managed 6 hours on battery – enough for the school day!
