About Us and Our Work Team

• Little Edison’s Workshop was started in May 2010 by Ujwala V.Apte, an Electrical Engineer with 15 Years of Industry experience. Realizing the potential of creating working models Based on electrical engineering could be used as educational tool to captivate children, Ujwala Apte set out to start Little Edison’s workshop.

• Our team has engineers who are well trained and have experience in teaching children.


The Program

• The Little Edison’s workshop is all about having fun while constructing Working Models.

• Basic Electronics on Solder less breadboards will be used to learn the electronic components by building fun and exciting projects.

• Students will be involved in Group Quizzes and Puzzles based on Safety part in dealing with electricity.

• All the projects are based on DC power supply.• Students get to keep the projects which they build during the camp which they

carry Home.• The Camps has Two modules 1) Basic module 2) Advanced Module.• Both the Modules are One Day Session.


The Program Objectives

• Introduce kids to the exciting world of electricity, its history, basic fundamentals• Provide hands on experience through building simple machines• Help the participants appreciate significance of energy saving at home• Provide exposure to safety aspects of electricity through simple quizzes• Explore “joy of experimentation” by stimulating “discovering minds” of participants

Overall, take the participants to the wonderful world of electricity through tasks with fun and learning


What We Offer

In this camp we will be offering the following as mentioned below.• Explanation Of projects with support of PPT.• Project Material / Project Kits.• Study Material.• Writing Pads, Pens, Sketch Pens.• Screw Drivers.• Total Number Of Projects: 3 Nos.• Participation Certificates.

Each student will carry along with them the projects which he / she has individually done in the workshop.


Registration

• The Little Edison’s Workshop is recommended for ages eight to fourteen.• No prior experience is needed. Each camp session consists of one full day session. • The ratio of camper to counselor is ten to one. • All sessions are conducted in English, however counselors are bilingual. • Although every effort will be made to accommodate students the Maximum batch

size what we look at is of 30 students.

• Enrolment Charges: Rs 1500/- per candidate.
