Andrea Camilleri, who is from Sicily, is one of the most important contemporary Italian writers in the world. Like Agatha Christie before him, he has written many books, thrillers, that are best sellers in many countries. His most famous work is ‘The Inspector Montalbano novels’.

Montalbano’s stories are also a tv series in many countries, in England too.
