• SilverLake® & CIF 20/20® offer a tool inside Xperience™ that

can be used to extend the core system. This tool is referred to

as PowerOn®. It is utilized at the customer and account inquiry

levels.

• Through PowerOn®, the core system can be extended allowing

you the ability to create additional functions that are not

standardly available, are specific to the your business need, or

that supplement third party systems.

Henry can share unique solutions which can be downloaded

and ‘plugged’ into a variety of Jack Henry products.

• Using the PowerOn® SDK

– What skills are needed to write PowerOn’s?

• A basic understanding of writing a .Net application. This would typically be

using C#, but other .Net languages can be used as well. We have

intentionally tried to keep the SDK simplified so that it is a good fit for a junior

developer that has only basic development experience. The SDK comes

with sample applications and test tools to aid in this process.

– If a third party or a bank develops a PowerOn® using jXchange with a VIP third party or a JHA application jXchange is required.

• What if jXchange isn’t used?

– If a third party or a bank develops a PowerOn®, integration usage/billing applies if the PowerOn® uses integration with a VIP third party or a JHA application via an API.

• How can I request the SDK?

– Make a request via the JHA Marketplace™ or contact your sales representative.

• Can we build a PowerOn® to do “X”?

– It mostly depends…
