Power Inn Alliance has a new crime fighting program for all members in the Alliancedistrict. Security Patrol and Alarm Response (SPAR) is available to all memberswithin in the Alliance boundaries. SPAR alleviates members from responding to activatedalarm calls and incurring costs for false alarm fees. Fees are paid for by the Power InnAlliance based upon your membership level.

Beginning March 7, The Alliance is partnering with Bayer Protective Services as the first-responder to activated alarms. All members with installed and permitted (with the City of Sacramento) alarm systems qualify for SPAR.When an alarm is activated, Bayer is notified and will send a patrol to check doors, windows and visible perimeter. If a true emergency isdetermined, Bayer will contact the property or business owner to decide the next action.

According to Sac Police, 98% of all activated alarm calls are false, using valuable patrol time. In 2012, Police adopted Alarm Verification ordi-nance, which charges a fee for all false alarm calls that utilize Police time. Fees can be up to $320.

Save time and money by joining SPAR http://www.PowerInn.org/SPAR
