Deep Offshore Technology (DOT) International, the leading global conference & exhibition for
deepwater and ultra-deepwater exploration and production, took place 27-29 November 2012 at the
Perth Convention Exhibition Centre in Perth, Australia. The event attracted nearly 1,300 attendees from
34 countries, including representatives from 15 operating companies.
The conference content for DOT 2012 reected the industrys increasing demand for new technology
and services to safely and efciently grow the global reserves base from the worlds most prolic andprospective resource play deepwater. The exhibit hall oor showcased new equipment, technology
and services to the deepwater industry.

Nearly 1300 attendees from 34 countries
26% increase in attendance over DOT 2011
15 operating companies in attendance including Shell, Chevron, BP, TOTAL, ExxonMobil,
Gazprom, Hess, Woodside, Petrobras and more
67% of exhibitors indicated that the quality of attendee trafc met or exceeded their expectations

Networking Receptions
The rst day of the event wrapped up with a welcome reception, hosted by Shell, on the exhibit oor from 5:30
6:30 p.m. Attendees and exhibitors networked and mingled while enjoying hors doeuvres and beverages. A
second networking reception was held the following night, Wednesday, 28 November.
Technical Tour
An exclusive tour of the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) was held immediately following the conclusion of the
conference on Thursday, 29 November, 2012. Located 23 kilometers south of Perth, the AMC is a world-class
centre for excellence in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, maintenance and technology servicing the marine,
defense, oil and gas, and resource industry.
