Introduction
Exit Retail was established more than 20 years ago and is the second largest POS software
provider in the Israeli market.
Exit Retail has developed its own proprietary technology which focuses on how retailers operate
rather than software and hardware technicalities.
Exit Retail has been operating in South Africa since 2010 and has grown exponentially year on year.
Exit Retail has build the necessary support and technical capabilities in South Africa in order to meet
our objective of providing superior service and POS functionality.

Exit Retail is the South African distributor of Exit Retail Israel (previously Aviv POS). Exit Retail developed POS software from the retailers point of view and after growing to a base of in excess of 4,500 customers in Israel, has expanded to both South Africa and the USA and is currently planning an entry into China
Exit Retail provides solutions for single businesses and is scalable all the way up to
national chains.

Exit Retail employs our own service and support staff, enabling us to service and

Point of Sale Systems: POS systems can be operated through a keyboard or touch screen as well as through
handheld devices. User-friendly, easy to operate, and have been installed in both small and large
organizations.
BackOffice / Head Office: Remote management control and command system over each POS via a network /
modem / internet / VPN. System for statistical reports, graphs, information processing, inventory, sales,
employee management, customer clubs, mailing lists to customers, SMS messaging and more.
Capable of working with handheld devices. Account and payroll system interfaces are available.
Network Center: The software enables ONLINE and OFFLINE control of branches.

Aviv POS software offers cross-platform operability and Operating System independence.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Java's Object-Oriented Programming philosophy means that the system is very easy to use, with
only a few basic screen archetypes to learn.
Java's Object-Oriented approach also means that customizations can be done quickly. Because
of system modular design, substantial amounts of source code can be reused every time we add
new features.
Data Base (DB)
The System runs over MySQL/SQL database manager. The system’s database independence
gives freedom to go with any Open Database Compliant (ODBC) database manager.

Report System gives the end-user the freedom to create new reports from scratch or modify the
layout of the underlying queries. Using our “What You See Is What You Get” designer, you can
include any field from any table in the database. You can also create and store formulas such as
