PortVu

PortVu is an integrated bulk terminal management system that facilitates the management of bulk commodity ports and their supply chain. PortVu allows users to manage the complexities of inter-modal transportation, stockyards and vessels while ensuring equipment is scheduled and utilised effectively.

PortVu integrates the terminal operations with suppliers, customers, transport providers, agents, laboratories and other supply chain partners through the use of a common platform, providing a highly integrated and comprehensive terminal operating system.

PortVu can be interfaced to a bulk terminal control system to provide necessary information on stockpile positions for yard equipment instructions, task and route management, vessel load & hatch plans and belt weightometers for accurate data reconciliation and reporting.

PortVu employs a modular design and is highly configurable. Modules within PortVu cover voyages & parcels, stockyard management, equipment & task management, transportation, customer interfaces and documentation.

PortVu can be implemented as an entire Port Management system or on a module-by-module basis to view all forecast and actual movements.

Business Benefits

PortVu performance is judged by clients primarily upon the value delivered to their business and this remains the focus of QMASTOR throughout the life of the system. Business benefits can include:

- Improved equipment utilisation

- Efficient use of stockyard space

- Increased customer satisfaction

- Operational cost efficiencies

- Reduced manual data entry and associated errors

- The management of increasing operational level complexity

- Improved collaboration throughout the supply chain

- Improved reconciliation of material

- A platform and enabler of continuous improvement

- “the right resources in the right place at the right time at the right cost”

Users no longer need to address business pains such as:

- Lack of visibility due to untimely or poorly integrated information

- Manual data entry from up-down stream processes, instruments or 3rd parties

- Misalignment of operations from the use of multiple data sets

PortVu’s flexible, configurable design enables the system to be deployed at bulk terminals importing, exporting or both, enabling the management of multiple commodities within the one centralised, integrated system.

PortVu has the breadth and depth of functionality to be the core bulk terminal operating system for the hubs of highly productive, integrated supply chains.
