Polymer Optical Fiber ‐ Application Center (POF‐AC) was founded by Prof. Dr. Poisel at theTechnische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm in 2001. The Institute achieved aleading position as a development and consulting partner in the areas of POF‐basedsensors, datacom and illumination. The POF‐AC team offers an expert support in fibercharacterisation, modelling, design and prototyping of optical components and systems.
