Difinition of pollutionPollution is when something is added to the environment that is harmful or poisonous to living things. Smoke in the air from factories is a type of pollution as it is bad for the lungs when breathed in. Sewagein drinking water is another type of pollution, as it can make people ill because it contains germs andviruses. People living next to a building site where there is too much noise can become sick as they cannot sleep or relax. This is called noise pollution.

How to Help Stop Pollution

Stopping pollution grows more important with each passing day. Smoke and fumes emitted by factories build up in our atmosphere, trapping more heat from the sun's rays. Improper disposal of waste poisons the environment, disrupting natural ecosystems. The end result of this cycle of pollution, if left unabated, is a planet Earth that is sapped of its beauty, vitality, and diversity. If you want to do your part to help stop pollution,

1 Learn everything you can. Go to your

library, do internet research, and talk to people who know more about pollution than you do. Learning as much as you can will help you have a better understanding about pollution.

Steps to stop pollution

Step 2 :

2 Make small changes in your daily

habits. All these little things add up if everyone does them.Use less electricity.

Lower the thermometer in the winter and and raise it in the summer, even if it's just by a few degrees.

Plant a tree. Turn off the lights when you leave a room.

Step 3 :

3 Create less waste. Buy food in bulk

instead of in small packages. Stop using paper towels and other disposable items. Instead of using paper towels to dry dishes, use a dish towel. Buy reusable grocery bags instead of getting new ones every time you go grocery shopping

Step 4 : 4 Only use your car when you need to. Walk or ride a

bicycle when you can. If it is available where you live, take public transportation such as a train or a bus.Car pool when possible. If your neighbor is heading the same way as you are pick him up. The next trip, reverse the process. That way, you are saving fuel and money as well as decreasing pollution.

Keep your car in good condition. Make sure you aren't contributing to pollution by emitting toxic fumes or leaking oil. Have your car regularly inspected to make sure it passes the smog test

Tell people about what you know. Even though a lot of people are concerned about stopping air pollution, many don't understand the severity of the problem or aren't sure what to do about it. Since you've done some research on pollution, use your knowledge to make a difference by talking about it with other people. The more people know about pollution, the more likely we will collectively find a way to stop it. Just talking about pollution with other people can lead to interesting discussions. Be prepared with answers for people who don't think there's anything they can do to help stop it.

Pollution and the damage it causes is a very serious topic that some people may be averse to discussing. As someone who cares about this issue, be sensitive to others' perspectives and find ways to help them gain a deeper understanding of what's happening to the earth.

Finally:

Stop pollution !It’s time for change!!
