Notes from Board Meetings

We have signed a three-year contract with Douglas College (January 1, 2014 to January 1, 2017). We will pay the college 10 cents more per meal retroactive to January 1 of this year, with two further 10-cent per-meal increases on January 1, 2015 and January 1, 2016. Bev thinks we will not need to increase the price of our meals.

Douglas College asks that drivers return the empty Styrofoam containers to the college IMMEDIATELY after finishing their route. On at least one occasion, the kitchen ran out of containers.

The college also asks drivers who arrive to pick up meals more than a half hour early to not park at the dock until the meals are ready, as this prevents suppliers from backing their trucks up to the dock.
