Placement is ~ 0.2 m north and east of sensors at EC#1 site,Soil subsite #2. Surface is bare, crusted, open, about 0.3 m to the south and to the west of sage brush, with few grasses, but withsubstantial grass roots in top 0.10 or 0.15 m of soil.
Constantin-Chromel TC’s, Type E,~ 1 mm diameter, Soldered at ends and potted in plastic suringe package-tipsusing silicone sealer.
