コンセプトプロポーザル: マレーシア国内ではガスの産出が行われており、大規模ではありませんが国内にパイプラインが敷設されています。マレーシアの特徴として、設備の維持管理が不得意ということもあり、RFID技術はそうした業務において効果を発揮することができます。 ただ、実際に関連企業へインタビューをしてみると、マレーシアのパイプラインは地中に埋設されており、RFIDの適用が難しい状況でした。とは言え、マレーシア国内においては多くの設備やインフラの維持管理が放置されるか貧弱であり、そのことによって設備が効率的に動作しないなどの問題が引き起こされています。 パイプライン以外でも、多くの領域で維持管理を目的としてRFID技術を利用することが可能だと考えます。
