Physical Education Standards Update

• The Nationals Standards have been updated

• ORC3301.079 states that we shall adopt the most current standards developed and revise and update them periodically

• Fall 2014 Regional Meetings- Feedback from the field support the update

• Updating the standards makes it easy to update the evaluations – Reflection of updates to standards– Opportunity to make modifications to from feedback– Add possible options to make the ease of assessment better– Provides option to lessen sedentary time

• Helps justify update the report card

– Adding benchmarks

– Adding number indicator
