TTX 400 overview

TTX 400 is a modular conceptwith interchangeablecomponents. Hence, manydifferent solutions can be built.

Suspension bracketsThe wide range of suspensionbrackets enables variousmounting strategies. For both

direct fixation to the ceiling andsuspension.

TrunkingsPre-wired (TTX 400) andunwired trunkings (TTX 410)allow continuous light-lines aswell as semi-continuous light-

lines. Both with emergencylighting and dimming systempossibilities. The same trunkingscan be used for IP 20, IP 40 andIP 60.

Electrical units

Conventional and low-losselectromagnetic ballasts areavailable, as well as variouselectronic ballasts (HFB, HFP,HFR). Other electrical units allowprojectors on the trunking, whileothers (in combination with theIP 60 set) make the systemsuitable for dusty environments.The electrical units can also beadapted for IP 40 applications.

ReflectorsAs well as the basic whitereflector, there is a functional

white reflector on which manydifferent attachments and opticscan be mounted. Slotted andperforated versions create amore decorative design, suitablefor mass retail, public areas andoffices.

Aluminium reflectorsThe range of aluminiumreflectors offers very narrow,narrow or wide beam andasymmetric versions. Ideal fordistribution centres, industryand Do-It-Yourself markets.

Mirror insertsFor the functional whitereflector (1- or 2-lamp) awide range of mirror inserts(wide and narrow beam) canbe installed without any tools.

Attachments/opticsFor optimal light distributionand lighting comfort, thefunctional white reflector(with or without mirror inserts)can include differentattachments and optics.

This trunking system for bothcontinuous trunking andindividual mounting includes

prewired (400) and unwired (410)sections. The sections can beeasily clicked together using theintegrated electrical/mechanicalcoupling pieces. The trunking isavailable with a complete rangeof interchangeable componentsto offer outstanding flexibility.

All the trunking sections aremade of galvanised, whiteenamelled steel to ensure lastingcorrosion resistance. Flat ribboncable, integrated phase selectionswitch and contact blocks withclick connection make electricalconnection and connection to themains quick, simple and safe.The great stability of the sectionsand coupling pieces limits thenumber of mounting bracketsneeded (every three metres).The electrical unit is clickedsimply into the trunking for bothmechanical and electricalconnection. It is also suitable forvarious surface-mountedluminaires in light lines.Knock-outs are available forthrough-wiring and themechanical coupling piece is

integrated, also for the non-wiredtrunkings TTX 410.

TTX 400The prewired section TTX 400 isequipped standard with a 5 - or7-wire 2.5 mm2ribbon cable.

In the 7-wire version theconnection for dimming oremergency lighting is integrated,so no extra contact blocks arenecessary. Both versions areavailable in length of 2 and 3

electrical units 36 W and 58 Wand for 5-wire version also in1 electrical unit 58 W length.

TTX 410The unwired section TTX 410offers simple and quick clickmounting of the TMX 400electrical units. Feed-throughwiring can be fitted in thetrunking sections.Available in length of 2 and3 electrical units 58 W.The required wiring can be fixedin the trunking using TTX 410 IC,while the electrical connection at

the start of the light-line is madewith TTX 410 TC. Electricalconnection to the basic unit is viaTTX 400 DC, which is equippedwith a plug and can be easilylocated at any point on theunwired section.

TMX 400Electrical units

These electrical units aredesigned for quick click mountingin TTX 400/TTX 410 trunking

sections. They are for use withone or two TLD lamps, withconventional or electronic(dimming) ballast, in emergencylighting version and in IP 40 orIP 60, in addition to the standardIP 20 version. They contain allthe necessary electrical andmechanical functions. Allcomponents are screwed ontothe electrical unit and they canbe combined with any type ofreflector. The units aremade of galvanised prelacqueredsheet steel, guaranteeing highcorrosion resistance.

TMX 400 are delivered standardwith electronic ballast HFP/HFB,electrical connector andlampholders. The dimmableversion of the TMX 400 isdelivered with the electronicballast HFR, allowingthe light output of the TLDlamps to be regulated from 3% to100%.

This unit is ideal for (day)light-dependent control and must bemounted to the prewiredTTX 400 section with 7-wireribbon cable. The TMX 400 unitswith conventional ballasts are

supplied with electricalconnector, starters, anynecessary capacitor andlampholders.

TMX 400 are also deliverable inversions with in-built 3-houremergency lighting. These aremounted in the same way as allthe other TMX 400 electricalunits and must be used with theprewired TTX 400 trunkingsection with 7-wire ribbon cable.

It is designed to incorporatelow and medium wattage HIDlamps. Also the use of QLlamps is possible.

The gear housing can becombined with standard Philipsaluminium reflector and arange of acrylic reflectors.

For use with any of the

following HID lamps: 250W or400W HPL-N, SON or HPIBU (S) lamps.

The wattage range between150 400 watt for HID lamps.

QL lamps at 55W and 85Wcan also be used.

Coloured gear housings arepossible upon request.

The aluminium material is ofheat, corrosion and UVresistant type.

The luminaire is deliveredstandard in unpainted version.Painted versions are availableupon request.

IP65 ingress protection ratingin the gear housing is securedthrought the use of a neoprenegasket between the housing.

The gear box uses Philipsstandard ballasts and is usingsilicone cable to improveresistance against the heatinside the housing.

The luminaire is suitable forindoor and outdoor use atan ambient temperature ofmax 45C.

Luminaires in combination withnarrow beam reflectors are

ideal for lighting in very highhalls, or halls with highobstacles and or highmachines.

Luminaires in combinationwith wide beam reflectors aresuited for relatively low hallsand areas where verticalilluminance is required.

Luminaires in combination withacrylic refractors are idealwhen a percentage (up to 20%)of uplighting is required.

Each reflector can be fittedwith a glass-dust cover forapplications industry and

humid areas.

Materials and finishThe Phoenix range consists of analuminium gearhousing,mounting cups and a mountingplate. The compact and sturdyluminaire is made of high gradedie cast aluminium (very low cucontent). The gearhousing closedwith stainless steel clips.

Installation and mountingThe luminaire can be mounted byhook, pipe, tanchion or directly to

the ceiling. Mains cable entry ismade through the mountingsystem.
