Available in two types.

Type A, is mounted on a 90º bend outlet pipe, and is available

in sizes 100 mm to 400 mm diameter. Robust construction of

Stainless Steel with brass bearings.

Type B, is mounted on a straight flanged pipe section and is

available in sizes 100 mm to 300 mm diameter. Can retain

water up to 4 m head.

FLOAT CONTROLLED FLAP VALVES

The Hydrolimiter is a float controlled slide gate. As the level

of flow rises the control gate closes, limiting the downstream

flow. Similar to the VN and VS HYDROSLIDE®, but without the

control cam that gives the HYDROSLIDE® its accuracy of con-

trol. Available in sizes 100 mm to 400 mm. Robust construc-

tion of Stainless Steel with brass bearings.

HYDROLIMITER

Can be used to prevent water backflow in harbours, and

river outlets. Control flows from storage tanks in unison with

Hydroslides. The float controlled flap valve can be used to

reduce the head acting upon the flow control, thus allowing a

large control orifice size.

Can be used to control discharge or water level. Cost effective

alternative, where accuracy of flow rate plays a sub-ordinate

role. Can be used to utilise storage in a cascade formation

within an existing sewer system, as an alternative to providing

a specific storage tank.

Available in circular size from 100mm to 1200 mm. Rectangu-

lar Flaps – can be constructed to client requirements.

Every ELIQUO HYDROK penstock can be supplied with stand-

ard reverse ACME thread and with a standard valve key fitting.

Can be supplied for fully open / fully closed isolation uses, or

with an orifice for flow control. Depending on application, they

can be supplied for either wet side or dry side installation.

Can also be supplied with an ActuSlide for an actuator drive

system that eliminates the need for operation and mainte-

nance teams to enter hazardous undeground areas.

Can be used to limit discharges from detention systems
