Questions & feedback evaluation

Question - What do you think I should change?

Feedback evaluation - With the first and second comment (first talked Ella, then Flic) I am happy that she mentioned 'it is not clear what's happening, is she there, is she not, has she left, has she not'. As Ella mentioned 'endless circles'. This was the exact response I was going for. I want audience to feel a little confused, but interested enough to want to watch the full video, thinking that the issue will be resolved in the end. Unresolved issues was something I wanted to have in my video in order to attract my exact target audience, as it is one of the genre conventions that if there is a narrative based video there will be a complicated story with the deep meaning behind it.

Also the black hair girl Bethany pointed out it is not clear what the man has done. I think from the video it is clear to see that he kind of left the girl/broke up with her, and that's all what should matter to a target audience, going more in depth with what he's done would mean I need to make a film rather than a video.

Questions & feedback evaluation

Question - What do you think of the colour scheme, should I change something?

Feedback evaluation - Ella has pointed out that the advert itself could connote it is more like a memory. I really like this idea, I think it's great the way my advert makes audience to think themselves more about the subject and analyse it.

Another thing that has been suggested by Maisie, after the video was taken, was to put he filter over the advert and the digipak making them not black and white but maybe using the same colour scheme as in the video when I have used the filter over the light. This would help them all tie in together better, it would be easier for my target audience to say that it does go together very well.

Questions & feedback evaluation

Question - Anything you hate about it?

Feedback evaluation - There was nothing that my peer group did not like. It might just be a bias feedback as we all know each other, but I am happy there was not something peer group would really hate.

Questions & feedback evaluation

Question - Do you think that the two photos on the inside of the digipak, which are mirrored to each other is a little bit too much of the same image?

Feedback evaluation - I have been told that the digipak works well being so minimalistic, especially because there is an insert which is handwritten and this makes the audience familiarize themselves with the Dj much more, feeling like their friend. And also those images are the images of the location where the video was taken, so it ties in together well and does not have to be changed. I was very happy to hear that.
