PREFECT CAMP

You can do what I cannot do. I can do what you cannot do. Together we

can do great things. – Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa’s words clearly epitomise the prefects of 2016 and became a

theme of the prefect camp this year.

The prefect camp was held at Buhle Bendalo- Van Stadens Mouth Resort

from 3 - 5 September 2015.

The camp was a resounding success, where learners honed their leadership

skills and completed a range of activities designed to improve their

communicative and problem-solving skills.

The camp focused on discussions based on the characteristics and keys to

leadership. It also included a number of adventure activities, where learners

were forced out of their comfort zone and had to rely on one another to

complete individual tasks.

It became evident quite early during the camp that the prefects of 2016 are

an enthusiastic and dynamic group eager to serve the school and leave

behind a legacy. There is no doubt that this group will make a positive

impact and be an exceptional group of leaders.

Our Prefects for 2016 at the Prefect Camp

with Mr van Staden and Mrs Roux
