made a declaration calling for “freedom, justice, truth, sanctity of the pledged word,

and respect for human rights...”...

Patrolled the streets of Bombay

during the riots between Hindus and

Muslims in 1947

Brought together Argentinians and

Chilean Rotarians to prevent a

border dispute

Malaysian and Thai Rotarians came

together to support peace

agreement on off-shore oil when

hostilities were likely

Trained Buddhist and Muslim

Rotarians in the Southern Thailand
