Preconditions
• EPLAN Platform 2.2 (Build 6338) has to be installed on your comput-er. (You have met this precondition if the products EPLAN Electric P8 2.2 or EPLAN View 2.2 with the above mentioned build number are in fact installed.)
• All EPLAN applications have to be closed before installing the patch.
Installing the patch
1. Extract the downloaded Zip file into an empty directory.
2. Run the file ApplyPatch.cmd.
ð The following installation dialog will appear.

3. Click [Update >].
ð The patch installation starts and may take several minutes to com-plete. You can follow its progress in the following dialog box.

4. When the installation is complete, click [Finish].
Determining the version
1. Start EPLAN Electric P8 2.2 after installing the patch.
2. After starting the program, select the menu items Help > Info (About).
ð The EPLAN application dialog opens. The version and build number installed will be listed in the Product tab. Version 2.2 HF1 (Build6360) must be displayed.

Uninstalling information
It is possible to uninstall the update. This is not done in the "Programs and features" list, but in the "Installed updates" within the Programs and features list (see the figure below from Microsoft Windows 7 Control Panel).
Here you will find the entry "EPLAN Platform 2.2 HF1 build 6360" below the "EPLAN Platform 2.2 HF1" program name.
If you uninstall this entry, the original v2.2 (Build 6338) will remain on your computer system.
