ALMEX - Albanian Military Exhibi-tion was born as "Albania in NATO "pass-port, whilst the country itself was rapidly involved in Euro-Atlantic cooperation and integration synergies as a new speaking voice in the International Security and Defense circles. Today, ALMEX continues to be a virtual documentation of a long process of improving and upgrading the defense and security structures in the country, social and political reforms that clearly reflect the perseverance to look further up to the EU integration.

While NATO membership is consolidated by one mission to another, the requirements of the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Albania are shaped in the light of the criteria for reformation and standardization, at a time when the spectrum of actions, tasks and commitments undertaken by these institutions are inseparable from the global mindset and vision.

ALMEX 2015, among other things, will be introduced as a unique opportunity to look closer to the reality and progres-sive development of a NATO member country, which is moving closer to European Community, a country with positive willpower to achieve perfection by growth, as an example for the close neighbors with which, based on common values and integration interest, jointly contributes to the Europeanization of the Western Balkans.

Since the very first editions, ALMEX enlightened the path to international industrialists ready to "encamp" their techno-logical innovations in the Albanian market. ALMEX resulted to be a unique matchmaker for the exhibitors arriving from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Macedonia, Germany, Greece, ltaly, Kosovo, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, and USA. Ever since, ALMEX continues to be the most influential event in the defense industry of Southeastern Europe.

Sectors of goods showcased at the Exhibition run simultane-ously with the items imposed by the need for modernization and standardization of the Armed Forces and Defence and Security Institutions: armored vehicles, armaments and ammunition, communications systems, military uniforms and equipment, dismantling and demilitarization industry, Smart Defense Systems, Aeronautics, fight against terror-ism, integrated border control management, production of identity documents and high security documents, etc.

ALMEX – Albanian Military Exhibition lindi si pasaporta e “Shqipërisë në NATO”, teksa vendi vetiu përfshihej në sinerg-jitë e bashkëpunimit dhe integrimit Euroatlantik si një zë i ri kumbues në qerthujt ndërkombëtarë të Sigurisë dhe Mbrojt-jes. Sot, ALMEX mëton të mbetet një dokumentim virtual i një procesi të gjatë përmirësimi të strukturave të mbrojtjes dhe sigurisë në vend, rimëkëmbjeje shoqërore dhe politike që reflektojnë këmbëngulje të qartë për të parë përtej deri në integrimin në BE.

Teksa Anëtarësimi në NATO konsolidohet mision pas misioni, edhe kërkesat e Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes dhe Ministrisë së Punëve të Brendshme së Shqipërisë harkohen e formësohen nën dritën e kritereve për reformimin dhe standardizim, në një kohë kur vetë spektri i veprimeve, detyrave të ngarkuara dhe zotimeve të marra konsiderohen të pandara nga një mendësi dhe vizion global.

Edicioni i 2015ës, do të zbulohet ndër të tjera si një mundësi unike për të parë më afër realitetin dhe zhvillimin progresiv të një vendi anëtar të NATO-s dhe kaq pranë Evropës komuni-tare, vend i cili emeton vullnet pozitiv për t’u përsosur me rritjen e vet, duke u kthyer në shembull për fqinjët e ngushtë me të cilët, bazuar në vlera dhe interesa të përbashkëta integruese kontribuon në Evropianizimin e Ballkanit Perëndi-mor.
