• Have your child do a variety of movements in

sequence 2 times each. Ex: “jump, jump, clap,

clap.”

• Possible movements: jumping, clapping, turning,

blinking, stretch to the sky, touch your nose,

touch the ground, wave your arms like a duck,

etc.

• Go outside and have your child practice

running. Make a race out of it. Time them and

see how long it takes them to run to “the fence”

or “run to the driveway” and run back.

that will happen during the spring and then have

your child draw a picture. ( Ex: if you write down

about when/why you would have those feelings.

Ask them to help you count how many horses

they can see. Then help them recognize the

number six. Continue with the other objects on

the “seek and find” page.

the story take place,” etc.

provided with these plans, have your child pick

up one square at a time and “feed” the monster

only the squares with the letter “W”. Have your

child say the name of the letter and the sound

each time they feed the monster.

Math

Predict what comes

next in an established

pattern

• Use the farm animal pictures provided. Cut

them out individually. Show your child a pattern

such as pig, sheep, pig sheep, etc. Leave off the

two pictures of the pattern and have your child

tell you which one would come next. Continue

with other animals.

Social Studies

Identify farm animals

and sounds

• Sit with your child and discuss farm animals. Help

them write a list of all the animals they think they

would find on a farm. Then talk about the

sounds each animal make.
