Paraguay basics
In a certain point in your life, have you
ever wished people gave you more of a chance to
be their friends? No? Well, this is how Paraguay
feels, counted out. However, the thing most
people dont know is that Paraguay is a buried
diamond. To start with Paraguay is the poster boy
of bilingual countries, as 90% of its population
know the indigenous Guarani and Spanish. In
addition, people from Europe and America rarely
visit, so those people can expect respect and
kindness awarded to them from the Paraguayans.
It is one of the two land-locked countries in Latin
America. California is about the size of Paraguay,
but Paraguay has 6.7 million inhabitants and its
capital is Asuncion. These are just the basic facts,
but nevertheless, facts in essence.
Miracle Music
One thing amazing about Paraguay is its recycled
orchestra, made from recycled objects such as
cardboard. Boxes can become instruments such as a
violin, and coins and bottle caps can become buttons
for clarinets or flutes. This has become unique to
Cateura, Paraguay, a city built on a slum. This music
has changed the lives of those who participate in the
band. These Unique instruments were the idea of
Favio Chavez. I think this is important because it
shows how much people should appreciate their lives;
probably most people in this slum dont have internet,
or a house with air conditioning. However, music
changes it all, and gives a positive setting to Cateura,
Paraguay.

A Simple-Minded War
You may have heard of the war
Paraguay started when it was ruled
by the Lopez family. Was this any
good at all? No. It was a foolish war
should not have happened, and
disgraces Paraguay. The war is over
and will never happen again, but lets
talk about it. Paraguay challenged
Argentina Bolivia and Brazil to a war.
This idiotic idea obviously ended
horribly for Paraguay. Without going
into detail, let us explain this. The
Lopez family arrogantly stated that
they could beat all of their
neighboring countries, and, (sighs),
lets just say they didnt.
Cheap Yet Expensive?
One thing that I find bad, but a little
interesting are things that happen in
Ciudad Del Este, near the triple
border. This place is where people
can buy knock-off products.
Unfortunately, for people who like
fake things, this place might need to
end the smuggling business. This is
caused by the Mercosur common
market, which sells normal things.
That is another thing about Paraguay,
so I hope you enjoyed learning about
it.
Paraguays Design
The final quick topic I would like to
talk about is nanduti. Also known as
spider web lace, is a pattern that is
embroidered, sewn in geometric
patterns, and very colorful. Nanduti
means spider web lace in Guarani.
Now, you know about Paraguay.
