Are the book shelves in your house overflowing with books or DVDs that your kids have outgrown or just gotten tired of? Would you like to bless someone with a wonderful book or Bible study you have read? You are not alone…. Pathway will be hosting a Book  and DVD Swap Saturday, January 23rd from 2 pm - 4 pm. Here are the easy steps you need to take for your family to participate in this great winter time social event: 1. Bring the books and DVDs you would like to bless an- other family with to the school anytime during the next 2 weeks (January 12- 22) and drop them off in the appropriate organizational boxes in the hallway between the foyer and cafeteria. 2. Be sure to put your name and number of books and DVDs you dropped off on the sign-up sheet so when the Book Swap occurs on Saturday we will know how many books and DVDs you are eligible to take home. All remaining books and DVDs that are left over after the swap will be stored for Pathway’s Annual Yard Sale in Au- gust. Please invite church friends, neighbors, family members, anyone you want to sh are this social event with. Remember this Book/DVD Swap is a great way to tell others about Pathway and get them to the building to see how wonderful our facilities are. And, it is FREE!!! (always nice after the busy holiday season). For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland…Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed. I have made Israel for myself, and they will someday honor me before the whole world.(Isaiah 43:14,18,19,21) CHANGE  This is an exciting time in the Kingdom of God! But, I have to be honest, a sad time for me. I have en- joyed writing the Panther Press for these years, al- most 4 to be exact. However, my last 2 classes (celebrate!) and budget restrictions have necessitated a change. The new Editor is ready to go! I am ex- cited and very thankful for her stepping up to the challenge. I am not going anywhere, I LOVE the students of Pathway, and they know I do! I believe in keeping people informed. That will not change. Jesus doesn’t call us servants, because servants don’t know the deal (carr paraphrase). He calls us Friends, and friends tell each other EVERYTHING ! God is a GREAT GOD ! It’s His Kingdom that is being built daily in and through the lives of the chil- dren here at Pathway! May the Lord of Lords, and the King of Kings be with you all! Did you or your kids get new books and DVDs for Christ-

mas? Are the book shelves in your house overflowing with

books or DVDs that your kids have outgrown or just gotten

Pathway will be hosting a

Book  and DVD Swap

Saturday, January 23rd from 2 pm - 4 pm.

Here are the easy steps you need to take for your family to

participate in this great winter time social event:

1. Bring the books and DVDs you would like to bless an-

other family with to the school anytime during the next 2

weeks (January 12- 22) and drop them off in the appropriate

 Yearbook Cover Contest 

Entries are due this coming Friday,January, 22nd.

Entries should be on a 8 1/2 x 11cardstock or heavy paper. Please,

no computer paper.

Any medium is allowed, paint, colored pencil, marker, or a

design made on the computer.

This year's cover should be based on the idea of "Panther

Excellence".

Entries should be turned into Mrs. Locklin in the Art room

by the end of the day Friday, along with the $1.00 entry fee.

ALL entries will be included somewhere in the final year-

book.

We still have over 100 cards avail-able, on top of those allotted to athletes, all of whichreally need to be sold to make this fundraiser a success.Panther Cards are only $10.00 and offer year-long sav-ings at many restaurants, fat food and entertainmentlocations here in the NRV. Plus they get you into anyhome basketball game for only $1.00! So, Pantherathletes, keep selling your cards. Everyone else, thank you for your support of our athletic department!

gym. Both schools have historically offered some

exciting contests for our Pathway players. These are games

that you will want to watch and enjoy!
