“Social networks are a defining characteristic used to describe the advent of Web 2.0 as the transition from the web as a static tool of document storage to an interactive network inviting collaboration on all levels."

Facebook's mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.

https://www.blogger.com/start

A blog is a collaborative space. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. A blog is whatever you want it to be.

In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so your readers can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it or email you. Or not.

Since Blogger was launched in 1999, blogs have reshaped the web, impacted politics, shaken up journalism, and enabled millions of people to have a voice and connect with others.
