T-t-T: EVOT Roll Out – Presenter: VFIS Instructor A large number of emergency service personnel and civilians are injured and killed each year as a result of inappropriately driven emergency vehicles. Participants in this course will have the opportunity to gain and/or verify a broad range of competencies associated with the emergency vehicle driving. These competencies include basic understanding of emergency vehicle operations as well as the skills necessary for practical and safe application of driving on a competency course.

T R A I N T H E T R A I N E R SSFA Accredited Instructors are permitted to take the Train the Trainers listed below. In order to be accredited by the SFA to instruct the class the instructor must be certified to the level he/she is seeking SFA accreditation to instruct.

T-t-T: RTUE-E Responding to Utility Emer-gencies - Electrical - Paul Klecha This course will address the hazards, risks, response and players (utility and public service) involved in responding to emergen-cies involving or threatened by electricity.https://rtue-gas-power.rtueonline.com/ac-counts/register/

T-t-T: RTUE-NG Responding to Utility Emergencies - Natural Gas - William Wright This course will address the hazards, risks, response and players (utility and public service) involved in responding to emergen-cies involving Natural Gas newly revised curriculum.

T-t-T: VFOE Vehicle Fires and Other Emergencies - Mike Butler This course will inform the students of the hazards encountered at vehicle fires and other emergencies. They will learn proper strategy and tactics for vehicle fires. The hands-on training will allow the students an opportunity to practice vehicle firefighting tactics.

T-t-T: INFO - Introduction to Fire Officership - Tom Cook, Darryl Jones, JC Tedoroski Fire Officers will give the student a basic overview of fire ground officer responsibilities, personnel issues, fire ground operations, and the develop-ment of a sound and effective administra-tive and fire ground organizational structure.

T-t-T: Hazmat Awareness Hazmat Operations J & B – PSFA Adjunct Instructors Provide training for first responders to releases or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of the initial response for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property and the environment. Personnel are trained to respond in a defensive fashion to contain the release from a safe distance, to keep it from spreading and prevent exposures. They must understand basic hazard and risk assessment, how to select and use proper personnel protective equipment, basic hazardous materials terms, basic control, containment and / or confinement operations within the capabilities of the Resources and PPE available, basic decontamination procedures and termina-tion procedures.

S E M I N A R SOSFC – PSFA : Presenters: PA State Fire Commissioner Tim Solobay, George Stapleton PSFA Administrator - Presenters will talk about topics and issues affecting the Firefighters of Pennsylvania. They will also be taking questions from the floor on issues and concerns of the instructors.

Keystone Chapter of State Fire Instructors - President Kevin McIlwain will present updates/Awards from the Chapter.
