Besides, it is also able to harness the best practices and technologies from the Emerson’s regulator brand names of (Italian) Tartarini, (American) Fisher and (French) Francel. The heart of all sophisticated pressure regulation and flow metering systems always lie with the field automation system (FAS) division which provides the brain to electronically convert flows per AGA requirements, log data, communicate data via RS 232, 385, Ethernet and Modbus. FAS division has reliability proven ROC, Logti, Flowti and FloBoss series of remote terminal unit to provide the above functions and also to control the odourizing, pressure set points via LC-21 remote control system.

CUSTOMER : SEMBCORP GAS PTE LTD, SINGAPORE PROJECT : DISTRICT PRESSURE REGULATING STATION INLET PRESSURE : 48 BARG OUTLET PRESSURE : 5 BARG FLOW RATE : 11,800 SM3/H MODEL : MRS-11800-1SB-4/6 QTY : 2 FEATURES : DOSAODOR ODOURIZING MODULE INDIRECT GAS PREHEAT GAS PRESSURE REGULATION TURBINE METERING CONTROL BY FB504 SUMMARY: Emerson Process Management provided a complete solution for Sembcorp Gas Pte Ltd of Singapore with Emerson’s proven state-of-the-art, Tartarini, DOSAODOR-D, odourizing module. As the pressure drop is acute across the regulator, it became necessary to preheat the incoming gas to prevent condensation of the gases. This is achieved by electrically indirect heating. Any condensation of water or hydrocarbons will be detrimental to customer’s downstream system. This complete package of odourizing, gas pre-heat, pressure regulating, flow metering system is made possible only by leveraging Emerson’s technology from Emerson’s very own Francel, Tartarini and Fisher brand names.

CUSTOMER : GRACE TECHNOLOGY (CHINA) PROJECT : PRESSURE REGULATING TRAIN INLET PRESSURE : 4 BARG OUTLET PRESSURE : 2 BARG FLOW RATE : 6000 SM3/H MODEL : MRS-6000-1SB-6/8 FEATURE : 3” FISHER 1098 REGULATOR 3” SLAM SHUT VALVE ELECTRICAL ACTUATED VALVES 6” TURBINE METER FLOBOSS 504 SUMMARY: Emerson Process Management boosts of having its own turbine meter range. Slam shut valve is also provided as a reliable shut off in the event that the system exceeds preset limits. Allowing remote shut off of the station, electrically actuated valve is controlled by FloBoss 504 which in turn communicating with customer’s control room.

REGULATING STATION INLET PRESSURE : 32~38 BARG OUTLET PRESSURE: 31 BARG FLOW RATE : 12,5000 SM3/H MODEL : MRS-12500-1SB-4/6 FEATURE : 3” TARTARINI FL REGULATOR CYCLONE TYPE KNOCK OUT DRUM 6” JUNIOR ORIFICE METER LC-21 REMOTE PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM FLOBOSS 503 SUMMARY: State-of-the-art LC-21 is implemented in this system to vary the pressure set point of the regulator remotely. Emerson is also able to supply the orifice metering system for custody transfer with a stack DP for improved rangeability. As the gas is expected to be wet, the gas will be knocked out of its liquid content by the installed cyclone type knock out drum before being filtered by Emerson’s very own dry filter system.

REGULATING STATION INLET PRESSURE : 52~60 BARG OUTLET PRESSURE: 50 BARG FLOW RATE : 12,500 SM3/H MODEL : MRS-12500-1SB-3/2 FEATURE : 3” TARTARINI CRONOS REGULATOR FISHER FILTER 4” EMERSON DANIEL SENIOR ORIFICE METER LC-21 REMOTE PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM 3” FISHER FLOW CONTROL VALVE ROC 364 SUMMARY: This complete system is capable of remotely varying the pressure set point of all the 4 regulators remotely through LC-21. Emerson is also able to supply the orifice metering system for custody transfer with a stack DP for improved metering rangeability. The regulator controls the pressure and the flow control valve limits the flow to predetermined setpoints. Daniel, being part of the Emerson stable, also supplies the senior orifice meter. The fitting allows changing of the orifice plate while the system is on line supplying. Also worth mentioning is the compact single bodied Cronos regulator which consists of the monitor, active and slam shut valve. All flow, pressure and modes data are logged in the ROC 809 system. Such data can be polled from the RTU via customer’s VSAT and modem system via RS232, RS485 and GSM lines.

INDIA PROJECT : CAIRN MORA LP METER & FLOW CONTROL SKID INLET PRESSURE : 16~22 BARG OUTLET PRESSURE: 14 BARG FLOW RATE : 93,750 SM3/H MODEL : MRS-93750-1B-18/12 FEATURE : 12” JUNIOR ORIFICE METER 12” FISHER FLOW CONTROL VALVE 14” CYCLONE KNOCK OUT DRUM 14” DRY GAS FILTER SUMMARY: This system serves as a flow control station before feeding the gas to the compression station. The flow control valve offers the latest digital valve control system which is capable of harnessing the advantages of using HART protocol. By using a HART system, diagnostics, positional feedbacks and other useful information is being fed back to the control customer’s DCS system. Compressed air on site is not required to feed the required pressure to the control valve as the unique system uses the mainline pressure to actuate the valve. System also allows remote monitoring of the knock out liquid level and drain can be activated remotely from the customer’s control room.

The system can provide constant supply pressure through the application of our LC-21 system, a product of our Tartarini Remote Control system. The regulated pressure and flow limitation Remote control system aims at allowing an operator to vary simultaneously the setting value of all pressure regulators by keeping unchanged the setting gap necessary to the proper operation of the installation and thus bring the station outlet pressure to a value between the preset minimum and maximum value and control the maximum flow rate supply.

The metering is also cabinated as required by the customer. The Fisher 1098 regulators is integrated into this system to give maximize performance and stability. This is one of our customized skids. The end user has also placed order for a similar skid with lower flow rate of 7000 Sm3/h.

The skids come with heaters to cater to the extreme cold weather conditions. It employs 2 stages pressure regulation to cater to the high inlet pressure and very low pressure outlet of as low as 3 KPA. It utilizes Fisher 627 regulators with Tartarini’s R series regulators for low pressure applications. It is well proven records for Emerson’s capabilities in providing the end user complete solutions.

It uses Tartarini Flowti and Fisher regulators and turbine meters.

The skids employs Tartarini Dorsador – D Pneumatic Panel and Electronic Control Unit .The skids comes with 2 Storage Tanks, One active and One Standby. The tanks can be manufactured in carbon steel or stainless steel materials. The system also provides a backup injection using a injection pump in case of power failure. The pneumatic panels are enclosed in a weatherproof enclosure and the ECU will be installed in the Control room.

The unique advantage is the compact design and hydraulically operated to jack up the system for service and maintenance as seen above. It also utilizes the Tartarini MFL design regulators which is a active and monitor system configuration.

The Fisher 299H and FL-BP regulators is integrated into this system to give maximize performance and stability. This is one of our customized skids. The end user has also placed repeat order for a similar skid with the same models for another 19 skids

CUSTOMER : SINOPEC CHINA PETROLEUM INTERNATIONAL COMPANY, CHINA PROJECT : 34 NOS OF SKID MOUNTED REGULATING SKIDS INLET PRESSURE : 36-91 BARG OUTLET PRESSURE : 36-78BARG FLOW RATE : 5000- 320000 NM3/H MODEL : FE-320000S / FE-150000S/FE-20000S QTY : 34 SKIDS FEATURES : ONE /TWO/THREE/STREAMS, MONITOR REGULATING, WITH ACTIVE CONTROL VALVES SUPPLY PERIOD : 2007~ 2008 SUMMARY: Emerson Process Management supply a total of 34 train skids for Sinopec China Petroleum International Company, China for the Project: “SICHUAN TO EAST PIPELINE “The skid system employs a active control valve and monitor regulating configuration completed with instrumentation and electrical installation and heat tracing system. Our 10” 971, and 8” FL, together with OSE slam shut valves were integrated into the skid. We also incorporate the Mokveld Control valves as the active control in these customized skids. The skids also managed by PLC with SCADA control.


REGULATOR DIVISION


This Skid assembly comprises our Francel 8” OSE Slam shut valve with Tartarini 8’ FL Regulators and Mokveld 8” Control valve. The slam shut valve can be activated remotely from the Control Room to shut the system upon emergency. The FL regulator is wide open and monitoring the downstream consumption. The Mokveld valve is active and controlling the flow consumption. In case the control valve fails, the Monitor regulator takes over the regulation. This is station is for Chuan Wei Terminal Station (Chang Shou Qu), total of 2 stations for the above Sinopec Sichuan to East Pipeline Project.


REGULATOR DIVISION


This Skid assembly comprises our Francel 1” OSE Slam shut valve with Tartarini 1’ FL Regulators and Fisher 1” ET Control valve with positioner DVC 6010 and 657 Actuator. The slam shut valve can be activated remotely from the Control Room to shut the system upon emergency. The FL regulator is wide open and monitoring the downstream consumption. The Fisher Control valve is active and controlling the flow consumption. Incase the control valve failed , the Monitor regulator takes over the regulation. This is station is for Dahua Terminal Station ( Fertilizer Plant) , total of 3 stations for the above Sinopec Sichuan to East Pipeline Project with 2 stations having the Fisher ET valves with Rotork Actuator and 1 station with 657 Actuator , providing a complete solution to our customers depending on site conditions.


REGULATOR DIVISION


This Skid assembly comprises our Francel 10” OSE Slam shut valve with Tartarini 10” 971 Globe Regulators and Mokveld 10” Control valve with ABB positioner Mokveld Actuator. The slam shut valve can be activated remotely from the Control Room to shut the system upon emergency. The 971 regulator is wide open and monitoring the downstream consumption. The Control valve is active and controlling the flow consumption. In case the control valve fails, the Monitoring 971 regulator takes over the regulation. This is station is for Chuan Wei Terminal Station (Chuan Wei Factory) and Jia Xing Offtake Stations, total of 5 stations for the above Sinopec Sichuan to East Pipeline Project with former 2 stations having the Mokveld valves with Mokveld Actuator and latter 3 stations with Rotork Actuators, Both 5 stations utilizing our 10” 971 regulators as a monitors providing a complete solution to our customers depending on site conditions.
