Emerson Process Management, Singapore operates from a 250,000 square foot facility, staffed by approximately 1000 employees. systems. The center is able to leverage on the immense pool of Emerson products to provide complete solutions to almost all natural gas needs. Besides, it is also able to harness the best practices and technologies from the Emerson’s regulator brand names of (Italian) Tartarini, (American) Fisher and (French) Francel. The heart of all sophisticated pressure regulation and flow metering systems always lie with the field automation system (FAS) division which provides the brain to electronically convert flows per AGA requirements, log data, communicate data via RS 232, 385, Ethernet and Modbus. FAS division has reliability proven ROC, Logti, Flowti and FloBoss series of remote terminal unit to provide the above functions and also to control the odourizing, pressure set points via LC-21 remote control system.

As the pressure drop is acute across the regulator, it became necessary to preheat the incoming gas to prevent condensation of the gases. This is achieved by electrically indirect heating. Any condensation of water or hydrocarbons will be detrimental to customer’s downstream system. This complete package of odourizing, gas pre-heat, pressure regulating, flow metering system is made possible only by leveraging Emerson’s technology from Emerson’s very own Francel, Tartarini and Fisher brand names.

Emerson is also able to supply the orifice metering system for custody transfer with a stack DP for improved rangeability. As the gas is expected to be wet, the gas will be knocked out of its liquid content by the installed cyclone type knock out drum before being filtered by Emerson’s very own dry filter system.

Emerson is also able to supply the orifice metering system for custody transfer with a stack DP for improved metering rangeability. The regulator controls the pressure and the flow control valve limits the flow to predetermined setpoints. Daniel, being part of the Emerson stable, also supplies the senior orifice meter. The fitting allows changing of the orifice plate while the system is on line supplying. Also worth mentioning is the compact single bodied Cronos regulator which consists of the monitor, active and slam shut valve. All flow, pressure and modes data are logged in the ROC 809 system. The flow control valve offers the latest digital valve control system which is capable of harnessing the advantages of using HART protocol. By using a HART system, diagnostics, positional feedbacks and other useful information is being fed back to the control customer’s DCS system. Compressed air on site is not required to feed the required pressure to the control valve as the unique system uses the mainline pressure to actuate the valve. System also allows remote monitoring of the knock out liquid level and drain can be activated remotely from the customer’s control room.

Our 10” 971, and 8” FL, together with OSE slam shut valves were integrated into the skid. We also incorporate the Mokveld Control valves as the active control in these customized skids. The skids also managed by PLC with SCADA control.

This Skid assembly comprises our Francel 8” OSE Slam shut valve with Tartarini 8’ FL Regulators and Mokveld 8” Control valve. The slam shut valve can be activated remotely from the Control Room to shut the system upon emergency. The FL regulator is wide open and monitoring the downstream consumption. The Mokveld valve is active and controlling the flow consumption. In case the control valve fails, the Monitor regulator takes over the regulation. This is station is for Chuan Wei Terminal Station (Chang Shou Qu), total of 2 stations for the above Sinopec Sichuan to East Pipeline Project.

The slam shut valve can be activated remotely from the Control Room to shut the system upon emergency. The FL regulator is wide open and monitoring the downstream consumption. The Fisher Control valve is active and controlling the flow consumption. Incase the control valve failed , the Monitor regulator takes over the regulation. This is station is for Dahua Terminal Station ( Fertilizer Plant) , total of 3 stations for the above Sinopec Sichuan to East Pipeline Project with 2 stations having the Fisher ET valves with Rotork Actuator and 1 station with 657 Actuator , providing a complete solution to our customers depending on site conditions.

The slam shut valve can be activated remotely from the Control Room to shut the system upon emergency. The 971 regulator is wide open and monitoring the downstream consumption. The Control valve is active and controlling the flow consumption. In case the control valve fails, the Monitoring 971 regulator takes over the regulation. This is station is for Chuan Wei Terminal Station (Chuan Wei Factory) and Jia Xing Offtake Stations, total of 5 stations for the above Sinopec Sichuan to East Pipeline Project with former 2 stations having the Mokveld valves with Mokveld Actuator and latter 3 stations with Rotork Actuators, Both 5 stations utilizing our 10” 971 regulators as a monitors providing a complete solution to our customers depending on site conditions.
