• RDA Centru (PP10) is a Romanianregional agency, responsible forregional planning and development inCentru Region.

• RDA Centru also acts as IntermediateBody for the Regional OperationalProgramme 2014-2020.

• In the next programming period RDACentru will act as Managing Authorityfor the Regional OperationalProgramme 2021-2027.

ROP 2014-2020 - ERDF ROP 2014-2020 aims to increase the overall economic competitiveness and improve the living

conditions of local and regional communities by supporting the development of the businessenvironment, infrastructure and services for the sustainable development of the regions so thatthey can effectively manage resources and capitalize on their potential for innovation andassimilation of technological progress.

Within 2014/2020 ROP was a national program with regional financial allocations; 13 priority axes

Overview of ROP 3.1B implementation

o The call for projects under this operation was opened in 2017 (February,28 –October, 4). Applicants from urban and rural public authorities, localand national authorities and institutions could apply for funding.

o Thermal rehabilitation of public buildings built up until the end of 1999with a total useful floor area of more than 250 m² were targeted. The totaleligible amount of a grant application was of at least 100.000 Euro and amaximum of 25 mil Euro, the applicants' contribution being of at least2%.The financial allocation for the Centru Region was 46,45 mil Euro

Results of BIO4ECO implementation

o GPs dissemination => Better quality of the projects submitted underROP 3.1

o RDA Centru drafted two letters containing recommendations forimproving ROP 2014-2020, PA 3.1 & requested a redistribution of theexisting funds and the relaunch of a call for proposals under ROP 2014-2020, PI 3.1 => a new call was launched

o Increased cooperation between regional stakeholders and withinterregional organisations => more involvement in drafting the futureprogramming period ROP 2021/2027

o Increased budget allocated for EE ( proposed 91.6 mil Euro -ERDF) withinROP 2021/2027
