2019 Budget

On April 15, 2019, Council approved the Township’s $2.23 million annual Budget. Coleman continues to grow its tax base, and has generated growth in property assessment of 3.94 percent (2019). This increase has allowed the Township to maintain municipal tax rates at the same level as 2018. Note: An individual’s property tax impact will vary depending on whether their property assessment was higher or lower than the overall assessment increase.

2019 Budget Highlight: Extension of Roads Program Council has extended the existing “Roads Program” with Miller Paving, which was originally executed in 2012, for the continued surface treatment and maintenance of the Township’s road infrastructure. Work on area roadways is scheduled to begin in August 2019 and will complete in 2023, at a cost of $747,767.
