• The second part of the course is a project work. The class divided in teams will prepare a report on a European region. The report will contain three main chapters: A statistical analysis of the region An outline of the development strategy of the

region The identification of projects suitable for the

development of the region

• An intermediate and a final report will be presented and discussed in classroom.

• The intermediate report is only for discussion and not for valuation

• The final mark of the exam will be a weighted average (50%) between the mark of a written exam on the theoretical part of the course and the mark on the project work
