The Stars Function Centre, centrally located in the Southport CBD is part of RSL Southport. Our experienced team guarantee personal attention and support from your initial enquiry, right through until our follow up after your event ensuring your event is an outstanding success. With our mouth watering menus, unique style and features, Stars Function Centre boasts a dedicated hands on approach with the ability to cater for all of your needs.

The Africa Star room boasts a large dance floor with stage, private bar, and the latest audio/visual & lighting equipment. It can accommodate up to 200 guests theatre style or 150 seated banquet style. The Africa Star room is the perfect solution for corporate meetings, training sessions, auctions, weddings and other intimate dinners & celebrations.

The Atlantic Star room has a private bar and is ideal for your next product launch, trade show, large celebration, conference or wedding. It can seat up to 400 guests theatre style or upto350 seated banquet style. On request, we can provide a dance floor and stage area.

The Pacific Star Auditorium is Located on Level One and is one of the largest auditoriums on the Gold Coast. This is a fully air conditioned room that is ideal for large corporate conferences, trade shows, awards nights, school formal, live entertainment/show or corporate dinners. The Pacific Star room boasts a large professional stage, state of the art light and sound equipment, large dance floor, two dressing rooms, and two bars. Terms & Conditions1. DEPOSITAll function bookings require a non-refundable deposit of the full room hire within seven (7) days of making reservation.

2. GUARANTEED FINAL NUMBERThe nominated attendance figure must be confirmed not later than 72 hours prior to the function and the basic Food and Beverage charges will be calculated on the greater of the confirmed and actual attendance figures. RSL Southport reserves the right to only cater for the confirmed number.

3. PAYMENTFull payment is required 72 hours prior to your function. Payments can be made by cash, credit card, direct deposit or by cheque. The balance of beverage & miscellaneous charges must be finalised at the conclusion of the event. All prices quoted are inclusive of GST.

4. CANCELLATIONAll cancellations must be received in writing. RSL Southport reserves the right to cancel an event should the event be seen to jeopardise the reputation of the venue. Should an unforeseen circumstance occur & RSL Southport is unable to accommodate your event, we reserve the right to cancel any booking or refund any deposit without notice.

5. PRICE & ROOM HIRE CONDITIONSUpon completion of an event all equipment must be cleared from the venue. Any equipment left in the function room may result in an additional room hire fee. Every possible effort is taken to maintain prices quoted but these are subject to change at the discretion of the management to allow for market variations. If our prices are altered we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible.

6. DAMAGE & INSURANCEAny property of the client or any other person, brought into RSL Southport Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage, however caused. This includes all and any items left after the event.

7. INDEMNITYThe Client attends the Function at his/her own risk and agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified RSL Southport Club against all costs, charges and expenses, which may be incurred due to any person suffering injury while at the Function or due to any loss or damage of property related directly or indirectly to the Function.

8. SUITABILITY OF PREMISESRSL Southport Club does not warrant the suitability of the facilities hired for your function. It is recommended that you satisfy yourself in that regard before confirming your booking.

9. CONDUCTThe Client must conduct the Function in an orderly manner, in full compliance with the above ‘Terms and conditions’, and ensure compliance by all persons in attendance. The Client must ensure no disturbance or nuisance will be caused to RSL Southport Club or any of its guests, visitors or neighbours.RSL Southport Club is entitled to remove any persons from the Function whose behaviour, in the opinion of RSL Southport Club, is objectionable, improper or undesirable. RSL Southport Club reserves theright to cancel any bookings for themed parties that it deems inappropriate.

Children are allowed on the premises until 10pm unless otherwise arranged with Management; however the client undertakes to ensure that children will be keptunder strict supervision and remain under the responsibility of the client. Any minors found to consumingalcohol will be removed from the premise and the remainder of the function will be cancelled with no monies refunded.

Special Conditions:If you need access to RSL Southport Memorial Clubs light and sound equipment, you are required to use the services of our in house technician. No other technicians are able to have access to our equipment without JAB Music Studios being present. Associated costs for this service will vary depending upon your requirements.

RSL Southport Memorial Club can provide ticketing services at a cost of $200.00 per show. Proceeds of ticket sales will be paid net of GST.

If it is determined that extra cleaning is required upon the completion of your event, these costs will be passed on to your organisation.

If it is determined that extra equipment is required for your event, the cost of hiring the additional equipment will be passed on to your organisation.

Our LocationRSL SOUTHPORT is located in the main street of Southport, 36 Scarborough Street, Southport. Stars Function Centre is located on level one.

Parking is available in our free underground carpark or street parking available within close proximity to the club.

Public transport is very accessible with one major bus terminal approx 200m heading north from the club on Scarborough Street.

Located centrally in the heart of Southport CBD, Stars Function Centre makes an ideal meeting place for all functions professional or private.
